I thought, at first, how this video will be too quiet. But I found myself concentrating more without disruptions from music or talking. I'm excited to try and make this journal for my wife, thank you!
Love this journal. And your videos are drop dead gorgeous! No crazy music or talking or anything that distracts from the beautiful creating you are doing.
In all the arts and crafts I have ever done, a workshop I took to bind a journal was my absolute favorite. I have never forgotten the blissful trance it all became for me. Thank you for bringing me back to a beautiful memory!
I recently got into making my own sketchbooks at night before I go to bed and I really like to do it my sewing skills are not great but they are good enough to make the sketchbooks and I’m really happy with the results
It turned out to be a very beautiful and aesthetic notebook. Thank you so much for such a calm, relaxing video! Continue in the same spirit and I wish you success in your future work. ☺💕🍀
Very calming and relaxing to watch your videos. Which is a great escape from this loud and sometimes vulgar world of RUclips. Thank you You are very talented and I love your work.
I have been wanting to add a nicer cover to my sketchbooks. I almost feel like I can do it after watching your video. I really didn't want to fool with a spine at the moment. I will re-watch the video. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so envious of the supplies you have. We don't have any of the beautiful papers that you have access of. And ordering online is not so much of an option because of the shipping and tax. So Thank you for showing and sharing with us your process and experience.
I would also love to see a tutorial on this. I don't think I've seen that version of the outside stitch (ladder) and that M pattern showing on the cover. thank you
this one really gives me this japanese back in the day book vibe i say this ones the pretty one so far since it looks so simple yet very eye catching for some reason
I recently found your account on Instagram and I think your work is really beautiful💖. It's really cool to see the process and how it all comes together.☺👍
Hi!, I dont understand how to make that M shape on the boards, the clips skips at some points, do you have any tutorial on those? they look awesome I want it for my notes!
Hello I only found your site yesterday and am so happy that I have. I love your clean, efficient, and no fuss creating. Do you have a list somewhere of the equipment that you are using - for instance what is the board that you used for the covers, what sort of glue are you using to stick on that absolutely lovely cover paper etc. Thank you
Wow I am retired. I could watch you all day long . Iam going to try the first of doing a journal . I have a friend that journals and I sent her two . I would love to make her one , It seem to be a very loving an personal gift to give someone. Will get all i need first to start . THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR GIFT WITH US . oh where did you get the pen holder at the end
stunningly beautiful, again 😍 I am curious why you never put the papers in the press? also, I LOVE the tiny book mobile! what a great way to practice small 👍
Hey I just found your channel today. The video is beautiful! I would love to make a journal. What are the dimensions of the board and paper you used? Is there another one of your videos that I should watch that maybe goes into more detail on the process? Thank you
O love your chanel, it calm me, I’m a crafter and also sewing paper like you. O realçou appreciatte your job. How paper do you use for your layers? It’s waterblock?
Beautiful, I can never get my printer to print on both sides perfectly. it always shifts something a couple of mm and you can see through from the other side the misaligment.
Is there a reason to run the paper through a copying machine first, and then use it for book binding? Or it is just a way to show what kind of paper used in this video?
These books you made are beautiful. I have a problem though, Do you have a video that actually shows how to do the binding, I find that it is impossible to follow how you are doing it. Thank you.

The paper in the drawer.. where do you buy it? It looks so flexible and the printing is beautiful.
I think from her other videos, it's called Nepalese Lokta Paper.
@@yerlee4379 thank you!

So perfect
I follow you now on Etsy and instagram too. Thanks for your videos and journal making
I get so mesmerized watching your videos. I’m having a hard time finding good colored thread. What type of thread are you using?
I could not see how the cover was sewn onto the signature. Beautiful work. Just will have to find a video close up dealing with cover attachment.
thanks for sharing, amazing
I wanna make this !!
Such a beautiful channel 🥰
Lovely!!🥺✨
Beautiful book. I've learned a lot. How did you make the pen holder?
Can someone tell me how to do this coptic stitch I don’t get how to do the middle part and the M-shape on the cover? Absolutely beautiful journal.
Hello.. Love watching your videos. Can I ask where do you get your binding covers? They are so nice and dainty. :)
What kind of paper is? Beautiful relaxing video!
¡Es muy bonito!
Diseñado hermosa y creativamente, además de pulcro.
Se nota que amas lo que haces.
Me encantó mucho💖💖💖
I really enjoy your videos. I was wondering where do you find those decorative papers?
There are multiple vendors selling online, look up “chiyogami paper”. I get them from Etsy and any vendors that show up on Google in my region.
O love your chanel, it calm me, I’m a crafter and also sewing paper like you. O realçou appreciatte your job. How paper do you use for your layers? It’s waterblock?
WoWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!
Beautiful, I can never get my printer to print on both sides perfectly. it always shifts something a couple of mm and you can see through from the other side the misaligment.
Beautiful! What type of paper is used to cover the book covers, and the weight of it if you know? It seems to take the wet glue very well.
Yes I'm also looking for that paper but idk know what's it called.
It's called chiyogami paper and it's 70 gsm. My favourite paper to work with.
Thank you
Hi! Great video! Did you make your own cover paper there?
Where do we find short-grain paper like the ones you used here? Thank you so much 😍
Hi, great journal! What kind of paper did you use? Both for the cover and for the inside sheets.
Where do you get all that great large paper!
Hi, like the binding. How did you do the binding ?
The binding is called Coptic stitch. Sea Lemon has a tutorial here on RUclips!
Where you get the paper for the deco they are so stunning 😍
love watching your work! What kind of printer do you use?
Is there a reason to run the paper through a copying machine first, and then use it for book binding? Or it is just a way to show what kind of paper used in this video?
She prints dots on the paper.
Hello, could you show me how to do the ladder back coptic stitch seam or where I can see videos or images to help me? Thank you
i would like to ask you if you don't mind
the machine in the beginning of this video
what is its role?
Bookkeeping art and statistics......
Hermosísima!!! 😍🤩🤗🤗🤗🇨🇴
Good One...
Nice
I feel so stupid for asking this but, the covers are made of cardboard right?
I want to try it but after I finish exams.

What printer do you have? The journal looks gorgeous xo
hey i like your binding really much. could you tell me whats the name of the binding?:) greetings and have a nice day.
Can you explain or recommend a source for me to better understand how to attach the hard cover to the signatures
These books you made are beautiful. I have a problem though, Do you have a video that actually shows how to do the binding, I find that it is impossible to follow how you are doing it. Thank you.
