on pc millennium 1000 with Addictive Drums 2 it's ok but I don't want to take the pc off to play, there is a possibility to somehow put it on usb and install it in the module the sounds from Addictive Drums 2
1) If I want to add extra floor tom and 2 extra cymbals like splash and a china ,do I have to use a splitter cable ? ..2) If I have 2 connected modules a(Millennium1000 and a 850 thru aux and headphones insert between the 2 modules to add more toms and cymbals ,if thats better ) Can I then still use ableton program and use VST drumsounds when running 2 modules and how to connect them to a pc /laptop? 3) What are the direct out behind the Mp1000module used for ,as I see you have a load of jackstick comming out from it ( what are all these jack direct out connected to ? ..thx
thanks, but how about EZ drummer, how do you map in there? And are there any latency issues? in MPS-850 there were a regular MIDI in/out, but in MPS-1000 there is only USB MIDI. When i tried to connect with only USB midi with my DDrum DD1 i got latency, so i bought a Presonus Audiobox and plugged the drums into that and then USB from it to computer, and that way i got rid of latency. But if you connect MPS-1000 do you use ASIO4ALL or what do you use?
Hi Niklas. I didn’t have any latency issues while recording within Logic or Ableton and I just used the USB MIDI Cable and nothing else. And with EZ Drummer it’s the same as within Superior or Addictive. You can find the midi maps in the settings. I can send you a picture later today.
Hi Salvatore. As far as i know it works pretty well. It depends if you play some really fast hi-Hat rolls or fills. Then it could be that it sometimes skips a beat but other than that it works great //Simon
@@ThomannsDrumBash 4:23 You can see multiple times that the hihat dosen't register your lifts when testing out the Effect Chain. Is this because of multiple video takes that dosen't sync with video, or is it maybe an indication that the hihat is poor?

Hi Martin. I would go with the MPS-1000 because of the look and playing feel. It just feels so much better to sit behind a real kit. As far as i know there were no latency problems when it comes to using VST Plugins.
Can I make it work with Logic's built-in drum sounds? Logic just has mapping presets for the big names like Roland. I'm not sure if I can even do a custom mapping.
So i have two questions. I saw this video about him having problem with the hihat if you look timestamp 3:05 in the video. The second question is, how do you map differrent sound to for example the ride (with 3 zones) in EZ drummer? So you get three different cymbal sounds from EZ drummer on the ride cymbal?
Hey Niklas. The hi-hat control is always a thing with e-drums. Some work better some not. Did you watch our e-drum connectivity video? Maybe that helps. Let me know if not! //Simon
