The Axe, specifically all the synths, is one of my favourite things Thom or Radiohead have ever done. Absolutely monumental. I'm surprised how little discourse I see about it around. Glad you appreciated it!
You should react to A Light For Attracting Attention by The Smile, a Radiohead spin-off band with Thom, Johnny, Nigel Godrich, and Sons of Kermit drummer Tom Skinner.
So glad you chose to do this album. It’s easily in my top 3 Radiohead-adjacent albums and was the first project to truly win me over to Thom’s style. I agree this album is super sensory and is a great listen with headphones
Thom Yorke was probably a bit influenced by Modeselektor (with whom he has collabed with numerous times) and Moderat (who opened for Radiohead when touring 'In Rainbows') when making this album, at least with the techno-edm-idm-influence going on. Moderat's second album 'II' has a pretty similar uneasy, moody quality to its otherwise groovy techno beats, highly recommend it btw!
The Eraser is definitely my fav of his side stuff but this is a close second. His production is always so ephemeral and intelligently composed, but maybe not as emotionally engaging as Radiohead, for me anyway. Edit: actually Atoms for Peace may be my favorite. I guess it depends on the day
Dawn Chorus is heart-breakingly beautiful like a memory of someone you lost
Dawn Chorus is such a beautiful track. It sends me to a different place entirely.
Next time you should react to The Eraser by Thom Yorke, astonishing project.
This is one of my favourite albums of all time. A huge inspiration for my music. All hail Thom Yorke
This album is so entrancing and harrowing, one of my favorites ! Super great coverage of it, glad you listened, another good video as always !!

This album is a trip. And definitely a grower.
