Definitely worth looking into working on your mindfulness to catch yourself before you lose your cool when shit happens that destabilise you.
    DBT really helped me.

DBT/CBT sound really good, the problem is I'm in a foreign country at the moment and don't have access to the healthcare system. Also I don't think they're set up to do it in English.

@@BigDome1 fuck, that's not good, is there a way for you to get into their healthcare system? I'm also in a foreign country and I've been struggling so much to get the appropriate healthcare. I've been in a waiting list for 11 months for DBT, I have my first session on Tuesday.
I've however been asking to see a psychologist for the last year and have been turned down every time. I literally went to them because I was at the verge of suicide and all they really did was like, oh, here, we'll put you in this 9mo+ DBT waiting list.

@@gizelle-s What country is this in?
I can get into their healthcare system but the thing is it would take a while and also my Spanish isn't great. Plus I might not be here in like a year's time so by then I might have only had a few appointments. It's something I would be more inclined to do if I had the money to go private. I'm also not hugely trusting of therapists to be honest, although I do think behavioural therapy is at the much more reasonable end of the spectrum when it comes to mental healthcare.

@@BigDome1 I'm in Sweden. Yeah, that's not a great situation to be in and I know how isolating it can be. I used to do private healthcare and right now I'm seeing a Dr in Greece that a friend hooked me up with because I'm getting better treatment from him. It's super expensive though.

@@gizelle-s Well I'm glad you've found something good, even if it's expensive. I appreciate the concern as well, thank you

Found your channel recently and am working my way through videos. Really enjoying it, great story teller, funny and also a lot of wisdom. I know this is an older video. Hope you're feeling brighter these days.

Thanks man! Haha, yes, I haven't watched this video again but I recall being VERY depressed when I made it. Life still has its ups and downs but generally things are much better now, for sure. How about you? How's life treating you?

@@BigDome1 I had this on through the car speakers while I was driving and thinking "Jesus, he sounds low on this one". Glad you're feeling better.
I had three packets of McCoys Salt & Vinegar crisps today, that's how I'm doing. I'm OK really, thanks.

You feel half suicidal and want to solve your problems with psychedelics? That's a bad idea, things will get much worse. Take psychedelics when you will have managed to be in a gerenally good mood. Than you might be able to deal with trauma and so on. Now (if it didn't change since the video) you're too vulnerable. Don't do it, you could easily be damaged forever and get crazy and disabled.
Have you been depressive before the drug periods or only since?
