The commission always wanted a spectacle with shouting, bullying, one upsmanship, smart comebacks and arguing. The debates over the previous years were totally useless. Thank goodness they shut out the commission. Hopefully the networks won't try to duplicate this useless format and their questions will be on policy and plans for their Presidency and not silly questions trying to catch out the candidates on stupid issues or recent news stories.

These ‘new’ debate rules are basic rules of debating that have not been adhered to in recent times. Shame that the obvious has to be stated, but necessary.
here are the "certain terms" Biden demands to debate:
1. NO audience is allowed to be in the room. (This will prevent clapping for Trump and prevent laughing at Biden./ No studio audience = no witnesses to contradict the edited feed of the debate CNN broadcasts)
2. All questions asked by the moderator must be submitted to Biden two weeks prior to the debate.
3. Biden must be allowed to respond to scripted questions asked by the moderator from a Teleprompter.
4. Any questions or rebuttals put fourth by Trump that are not agreed upon prior to the debate will not be allowed. Moderator must insist to move onto the next question.
5. Biden only will have the ability to choose who the moderator will be.
6. Biden team will be allowed to control “mic cut off” for both Trump and Biden.

His campaign has been holding their breath and praying they wouldn't be put in the position where Biden has to get on a stage and defend policy because they have tanked in the polls when it comes to issues (all the issues, all the polls). Their whole strategy was to to just keep waving the "we're gonna put Trump in jail!" flag and now that plan has crashed spectacularly. Biden is out here looking like Hoover to the average voter. Electric dog training collars on both (for fairness) and the moderator must shock the candidate that speaks out of turn. A muted microphone is not enough to prevent yelling to disrupt.

There should be another rule for the upcoming Presidential debates between Biden and Trump. If either of them interrupts when one of them is speaking, then the microphone of the person doing the interrupting should be cut off immediately. The Presidents video has 5 cuts in a 14 second video, with a total of 51 words. He is continuously looking off camera to read a script. Trump certainly has his flaws but Biden is not capable of doing the job. It's not necessarily his age but his condition.
