Just watched it for the first time on Netflix (it was popular before my time on nick lol). One of the greatest shows I’ve ever watched and I can’t wait to binge it again sometime. Probably the best ending to a show ever
i finished it in 3 days. Easily top 3 best show i have ever watched, ive watched episodes here and there whenever it would come on nickelodeon when i was younger but i never sat and watched the entire thing through. I’m so glad i had the chance to watch it

After Sozins comet and after Aang defeats Ozai, Katara and Aang hug before they kiss. The makers could have cut the hug and it still would have been an amazing conclusion, but I believe that they added the hug to show that the base of their relationship was there friendship. They were best friends throughout the show and it truly shows that.

When I was younger, I felt that Aang and Katara were forced together. But now, as I rewatch the show, I can see how it all makes sense. Obviously Aang liked Katara first, that's evident in itself, a humble 12 year old boy is attracted to a pretty girl slightly older than him. And they have all these experiences TOGETHER. They grow together as people, and Katara has always been the person to help Aang down [from the avatar state]. Realizing how wholesome their relationship is.. I now ship kataang.

During these uncertain times, with all this stress and pain in the world, it's nice to see many people around my age rediscovering and falling in Love with ATLA, a show that came out when I was a young kid and concluded when I was 12. It feels like forever ago. It truly was one of the greatest cartoons/shows of all time. It's up there with Adventure time, Regular Show, and the other greats. Animation and storytelling eons ahead of its time with excellent music too.
I just rewatched it for maybe liked the 4th time it’s definitely my favorite show of all time

Avatar the last Airbender.... this show is among the greatest of all time and it’s really hard to argue otherwise no matter where you come from. Whether you’re an adult or you’re a kid or even anywhere in between, there is always something you can take from this show. Whether it be the amazing fight scenes or the tranquility and peacefulness you feel when you hear the ending music at the end of most episodes. This show has a special place in many people’s hearts. For me and many others, it’s always held a special place because it reminds us how it feels to be free and what it felt like when we were kids. When we were just sitting in the living room watching ATLA. Sometimes you can get so lost in the show that you quickly realize how lonely you REALLY are in the world. You want to see more of the show but are content and happy with how the show ended and don’t want anything more. This masterpiece really shows that something so simple can impact someone’s life so little yet so much. That just goes to show how amazing this show really is....

This show in a weird way made me feel better about my memory. I forget people and memories very quickly. My childhood was so blurry for a long while. But I rewatched avatar on Netflix and it felt really familiar and nostalgic. It felt like I can remember everything again. It’s also good to know I can rewatch the whole series in a month and it’ll be like new again 😂😂😂

I have listen to this so many times on repeat and it’s crazy how 2 teenagers can show how love can change and how you can be so connect to someone that you love. This show taught the viewers not to give up, anyone can do anything but most importantly it taught the viewers that love is very powerful and that love can be the best. This is why The Avatar is my favorite show

even though i would start another hundred year war to be able to watch this for the first time again, it's crazy to see how this show ages with me. watching it, i get hit with these rlly fond childhood memories that i guess i never really thought about when things started to get bad at home. getting to reexperience this show in a new period of my life has been cool to say the least.
when i was younger, i definitely sided with team avatar no question and if i had to choose, would be a waterbender. lil me did not claim the fire nation for anything. nowadays, while i'm still all for team avatar, i find myself understanding zuko's struggle to find his destiny. or understanding why azula unraveled the way she did. and if you asked me now, i'd 1000% be a firebender. but my point is, it's the kind of show i know i can comr back to years down the line and it might reflect an entire new person, or track how much i've changed. and i think it's so beautiful that a cartoon can do that for someone.

ATLA came out when I was in elementary school and I remember watching it, but not really paying attention. Fast forward to my mid 20s and it was released on Netflix.. I didn’t remember a ton about it, but I remembered it was a quality show. That led me to rewatching it over the pandemic.. and oh boy did I fall in love. I found so many relevant life lessons within the show, it goes beyond just a kids cartoon. I’ve since rewatched it 2-3 more times and every time I learn something new. This is honestly my favorite show of all time.

ATLA is by far, a cartoon that isn’t just cartoon. you watch those seasons but it feels somehow real. the characters arc, those catastrophic effect of 100 years of war, friendships that turn into family bond as they went on adventures together, and not forget the lessons you got for each episodes. man, it sure hits home real hard everytime i watch this show
