Bought myself a carbon fiber pro model. Upgraded it to a red visor and extension spoiler. Loved it, still love it. Though I will say customer service/parts replacements is very, very bare. The base spoiler on mine got damaged, and I've tried everything possible to source a new one. Nothing at all. US and Portuguese customer service couldn't help. So yeah, if you damage that part, helmet becomes useless.

I have this helmet and have to say on the first day wearing it I was impressed I have to say 👌🏽😎 still need to wear it more but on its first day it really didn't feel like a new helmet , field of view amazing, noise isn't bad at all, weight not noticeable compared to much lighter helmets I have , vents work well ...the only thing is the length of the chin strap not sure why so long but otherwise a great helmet and let's see how well it does on much further use ,👍🏼😎
@@johnmcintyre7965 it uses the DD strap but honestly it’s the best method 👍 I’ve been using them for so many years now it’s a couple of seconds to fit, the nexx helmets have a fantastic quick fasten with the remaining strap 👍
@@trevor2830 Textile. Leather might be "cool" and a supersport person's choice, but comfort does not originate from there. Reinforced motorcycle jeans & a lightweight textile (mesh) jacket is the go-to-combination for hot summers. Leather is outdated, more of a habit and a relic than practical gear.
Also - if possible - ditch the classic black/dark grey for white. Basic physics, black surfaces absorb more heat than white ones. Take a black car and a white one, let them in the summer sun for a while and then take a seat in both - which one might be cooler? Same principle here. ⚪️ ❄️ | ⚫️ ♨️
Where's the rs 125 rebuild 😂 joking m8 the parts are in power coaters. The sx 125 09 has had 4 onwers. I thought it was factory powered coating, but rang up a week ago. It had 4 layers of spary paint and powered coating gutted. I have to wait until the 11th to pick up an extra 2 weeks. I will be uploading a video when it's done, and nice helmets 😊
Waiting for me to pull my finger out and start polishing that frame and swing arm 😅 Always the way when buying these bikes now, they all have some form of poor history ☹️

The side mount for the helmet should have come in the box as detailed in the video but if your referring to the actual adhesive part that can be purchased direct from GoPro (they have an online shop)

Im debating ordering one to go with my shark spartan gt pro, its getting a little loose after a couple years and i want a second helmet, i also live in Arizona so i need good airflow, what say you?
I can’t compare to the Shark helmet as I’ve never used one but I can advise I ride with premium brand helmets previously and the Nexx has been a big step up in comfort & support 👍 There’s plenty of air flow through the helmet that I experienced in Portugal which is considerably hotter than the UK, how it would compare to the shark again is something I can’t advise sadly but that said it’s the best vented helmet I have in the collection so will be the lid of choice on my trip to the moto gp in the summer this year 👍 I have an affiliate link in the description which should provide upto 10% off if you decide to proceed 😎

It’s not something I’ve tried but as it has the speaker cut outs I assume you could simply utilise those and attach the intercom box to the side of the helmet

DD strap is always my preferred method and the best to use on helmets

How perform at high speeds? What about the noise?
I was actually impressed with the high speed, if you check out my latest euro trip video I tested the helmet to 165mph with no complaints 👍

I have a cardo intercom id like to use with this lid, do you think there is room to fit an aftermarket intercom?
