Great to hear, they have always been good. I bought my first Lectrosonics units from Richard Meredith about 15 years ago and we have stayed friends ever since

Very nice to see this part of the industry. Thank you!
Would love to see you interview Volker Zeigermann in Hamburg. He is doing big improvisation films as a production mixer AND runs one of the biggest sound shops in Germany!

I first met Richard on Scrapheap Challenge many years ago, when he designed the kit for that ground breaking show, and started an entire genre of copycats. He was based in the Midlands then of course, much to the annoyance of all in Soho Square, but luckily thieves struck Richards mansion and made off with his front door, he had enough and moved south, Birmingham's loss was our gain. (See what I did there?) A pioneer and genuine friendly fellow, his knowledge is second to none, and many Directors and Producers have had one less dept to worry about it Med and his crew are on set or location.

Very cool, I've worked on a reality show as an assistant and working on films and tv shows within the sound department. I wish there was a place like this in Manchester as I had to enter this industry trying to impress people and learn fast on the job. I now have my own small kit and do love to boom op but this would have been amazing when I was starting out and still now I'd love to work freelance in a sound shop. great video.

This channel never disappoints. I've always wondered what the production was like on the British baking show, In a tent! And I think it's even gotten a bit of a hit in the US even though there's a bit of a name difference. It's not my favorite show but I do occasionally watch it. That's crazy cool that audio drove the design.

Love this video. Musical people are definitely the ones who will end up being the sound recordists on sets. Learned some new things. Thanks guys at Ursa and Simon!

That last bit hit home for me… as a child I loved listening to audio books. Some of my earliest memories are sound cues from films. In elementary school I was always drawn to technical stuff and on the stage crew. In high school I was in a band and ran sound for assemblies, performances and concerts. And now years later I’m working as a location sound mixer. It’s been my whole life. So cool to hear it articulated in such a simple way. Hearing is my primary sense.

3:29 wow that looks like one of my tables. I have two different set ups for live streaming events and one of them mine is a little more organized and the other one I put together for somebody else and I run it as everybody goes by they are always amazed by how many cables and wires are running off the table. I guess it's the same thing Pro professionally! Those wires have to go somewhere it's not all wireless.
3-4 cameras, audio, projector, Internet, there's a lot going on for a one man band, although it is nice when I get a little help.

The only one or only thing that can help you, and prevent you from dying is yourself, and to start eat again honey. No god can do that for you, you can't blame God. You have only one solution to keep you alive now, and that's only you and your choice and effort that can make it happen. Even if you get treatment or not the outcome is the same because it's still only you that have to choose to eat.
Even if you don't get any help now, you can do this. You just have to do it. And I belive in you. I cheer for you and I have hope ❤ Everyone want you to get better and survive this. The only enemy is your brain and the disorder.
But you know you really want to survive, and have a normal life, healthy and happy. And all this is infront of you, you just have to face your feat and go against your disorder.
In this state, you really just have to realize you have to choose, to live or to die. Is the disorders dark voices worth dying for? Or is it more worth to just start eat alittle to save your life and for once take control and not letting the anorexia be the leader anymore. And every single day will get you further and further away from the disorder and making you better, and happier at the same time.
It's the anorexia that tricks you to not eat and give up if your not getting help, but that's just to keep you sick and stuck. The truth is you have the key to survive in your hands already. You can do this, even if you're doing it without any help. Atleast help yourself to survive just by start eating to stay alive until your getting the help you deserve. I'm sure you will get the help but in the meantime you have to act and fight, just by eating little. Becuase in this state if you doesn't. You know it will kill you, and it's critical, so don't let the anorexia try to trick you to think you will start in a few days, or start eating later because that will kill you
You have to start now, even if your alone and not getting any outside help. To survive now is your last chance. It's only in your hands, only your choice only your effort that counts.
I really belive in you. You are strong, your worthy, your beautiful, you are capable. The time is now, and only now. Much love and prayers 🙏 ❤️

Although if you're anorexic it's definitely a good statement.
