I have one and its about 3in tall. Its in the south window getting the sunlight ...its about a year old now, and should produce some flowers this summer 🙏
its because if theres any kind of bug or mite on the cactus it drains the sap out of it and causes it to die so its best that you "wash" the cactus when watering it.
Can somebody tell me how often should I water mine indoors? It's small, and now she has two flowers and I don't want her to die, It is my first plant.. Thank you.
I guess it is Mammillaria phitauiana (Syn: M. verhaertiana), from Baja California, Mexico. (?), CITES Appendix 2., or Mammillaria sheldonii??? Some one help me please!!! Example of gratitude, with almost no care, give us back many years of silent company and patience... so we human learn from them... thanks!
Pauvre petite Mammillaria, elle qui aimerait tant de l'air, de la lumière et du soleil.

why do you water directly onto the plant?

Is it normal for the spines on the cactus to go slightly brown during the winter?
Puffy Fluff mine didn’t.. :/ only the bottom ones but I think that’s just because they touched the soil.

In a week? No, once a week or less, much less during the winter
no se que dices pero ese cactus necesita sol! no es una planta de interior
Explico como se mantiene esa clase de cactus. Específicamente donde la tienes que tener y en que partes del año.
Beautiful

Edgar, because you could select 2 tips of watering the cacti 🌵
Nice
I was told just to wet the soil but not the stem. . As it will rot if stem is wetted
Esther Ng what do you think happens when it rains in their natural environment?
A potted plant is not in it's natural environment.
