A PaulH video perfect start to a Sunday morning not only did I celebrate 10 years at work this week Paul it’s a year on my weight loss journey and I’ve done 8 st 12 lbs (124 lbs) enjoy the rest of your day feel better soon and so nice to see the flowers back from MrsH
Wow...congrats
Rumple4skin 1234 Thank you
Ahhhhhh The Sunday morning shave. I'm drinking coffee but I'll catch up with you on the adult beverages this afternoon. Nice video Paul. Thanks and I hope you feel better. Thanks to Mrs.H as well. Cheers from Tampa Bay Florida USA 😎👍💈
Now that’s what I call a relaxing intro to a shave video!
Paul you are dedicated. I usually do a menthol shave when I'm sick, usually palmolive menthol and aqua velva. Speaking of shaves this weeks is cremo unscented brushless shave cream, then Williams mug shave soap, unbranded boar brush, store brand witch hazel, aqua velva, and to finish off Nivea sensitive aftershave balm. Happy shaves Paul, get well soon.
I'm surprised he didn't mention at the beginning of the video (in the first few minutes) that he was using the Palmolive Menthol cream from Italy. It's my favorite menthol cream and maybe the strongest I have.
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. Best wishes for a quick return to good health!
Paul I know you are famous for your "dryer lather" but i reallly think if you would hydrate your lather more to where it soaks/combines with your skin you would get more protection from it and start to see less weepers. Cheers from the U.S. have a great week mate!
Hi Paul- Great Sunday shave; thank you! Very nice job with the FaTip and Feather! Lovely flowers from Mrs H; thank you! I hope you feel better quickly and enjoy the rest of your Sunday. See you on Wednesday for the mid-week shave. All the best!
Nice shave. The water here is cold. You are still the best way to start a Sunday
Good day Paul
Lovely shave video and get well soon 😊
Beautiful flowers Mrs H! Nice Scotch and Shave Paul! I hope your feeling better soon!
Nice shave Paul💈💈 Palmolive cream is really a good shave product. No FaTip razors in my den, don't know why..🤔 When I get a head cold, I just do a simple shave to feel better, nothing extreme. Hope you feel better soon. Enjoy!
Hello Paul from "across-the-pond" in Boston, Massachusetts. 😊 I just watched this video because I recently purchased the Fatip Piccolo to go along with my Fatip Testina Gentile. As always, thank you for your fun, informative, and just great videos, my friend! I tend to wake up about 5 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday mornings because it is what I am used to, and my wife sleeps in till 8, and I always watch your videos first. By the way, I noticed that this video was published on my birthday, October 13th! Take care, abd God Bless, my friend ! 🙂
Rob
Hi Paul. Great video and thanks for using the Picollo. The medicine sounds good and I hope you are back to full health soon. Stunning flora display as ever from Mrs H
Nice shave again Paul 💈👍 You certainly sound bunged up! 🤧 Hope the Osage helped. Gorge flowers Mrs H 🌺 Hope u enjoed Lashento's as we did with beef today 👍 Have a gr8 week ahead from us to you both! 👍💈🌺💈
Great shave Paul and Beautiful flowers Mrs. H! I love Palmolive shaving cream thanks to you. I hope you feel better this week.
You made me laugh with that one Paul! You should have got more pissed as the shave went on and ended up collapsing!! 😂😂 You've got to *LOVE* Fatip razors. Efficient and inexpensive. The Lo Storto Originale (open comb slant) is one of my top three razors of all time. Great vid, mate. *CHEERS!* 🍻🥃
FaTip Piccolo Open Comb DE Razor today and a Gillette perma-sharp blade and MFW soap. my SOTD! Great shave Paul!
Great shave, hope you feel better soon! Thanks Paul!
Great video Mr. H. Feel better my friend. 👍🇺🇸
Great video as usual Paul, hope you are feeling better very soon. 👍
Great shave Paul I also love single malt whisky Hope you feel better soon
Great shave as always Paul and get well soon!!!
A speedy recovery, get rid of it. Wow, what is btr than a single malt? Was told some do heat it to speed up cold's disappearance...
All the best for you and Mrs H. Thanks for your job well done Have great sunday and we hope you stay better. Ciao 💈🔝👍👏🍻🍷💈
Lovely flowers by Mrs. H. 🌺 Nice shave, Paul, though I wouldn't pair that razor with that blade; too aggressive for me. I wish you could send some of that rain to N. GA. We have an over 7 inch rain deficit for the year.
Nice shave Paul. Head colds are annoying !!! Think I will use palmolive today, I too haven't used it for ages. Have a good week to you both.
just chiming in for a speedy recovery Paul....from here in south louisiana.....I enjoy you videos!
Nice shave Paul. Loved the purple coloured flowers by Mrs H.
Using the Cube had a strange effect... It seemed you were shaving backwards, adding stubble instead of reducing it. After you applied it was like you had a full grown beard 😆
Happy Sunday Paul! Stunning flowers, lovely colors...thank you Mrs. H! Whiskey cure all...a wonderful why to feel better. My supply of Palmolive is starting to revel yours I dare say. I think I have 11 shaves sticks on hand now. The Ingrams shaving cream is the most used item at the moment, I do enjoy its level of menthol...I suppose the runner up is LEA mentholated shaving cream. Well, on deck for a shave: The New Wilkinson Sword Classic TTO loaded with a Brazilian Gillette Platinum Plus Blade (2nd use), 1960 Williams Tonsorial shave soap, WCS Lantern Synthetic brush 24mm, and plan to finish with Thayer's AF SF skin toner and PAA CaD AS. True, I always feel better with a proper shave. In every shave a little blood must be let! "Can't get closer than blood" PaulHFilms TM. That Osage rub...I think I have some of that from the Philippines...I use it to relieve pain. Perhaps not the same, but from your description it sure sound like the same. Get better Mr. H! Take care.
I think the Palmolive Menthol cream from Italy that Paul is using is one of the strongest menthol creams on the market and the most reasonably priced!
This morning I used my Mühle R41, Wilkinson Sword blade, Nivea sensitive shave cream. Never get a smooth shave with the R41, it’ll have to go I think Paul. Hope you feel better soon. If you ever get the chance, try Bushmills Black Bush. Distilled up the road from me. It’s a very nice Irish whiskey. 👍🏻
Paul H.s video, Formule 1 on TV and ... coffee, perfect start of a Sunday !
Hope you have a great day, many thanks :-)
I love the Palmolive shaving cream, stocked up on it in case they stop selling it in the uk.
Same here stocked up
I hope that's not in the cards!
Great shave Paul as always, love the Palmolive shaving cream.
A fine combination of heaven (the Single Malt) and hell (the Osage Menthol) making for a medicinal shave! 😂
Well done fighting the good fight through it all, including being brave enough to go open comb and Feather.
Flower arrangement outstanding.
Get well soon Paul,I start every day with coffe and your video have a nice day oh yes Palmolive i love it 👍😊
Great shave Paul. I hope you feel better soon, buddy.
Hope you are better soon Paul, thanks for a great vid as always, Palmolive cream is very nice and so cheap, new to the D E but is getting better every time, also thanks to you for such good advice and product reviews, thanks Paul 👍🏻🏴
That cube has me interested as it’s scent free. Thanks for the tip.
I hope y’all are feeling better soon. Head colds are the pits. I did wear a mask 😷 while watching. 😬
Hope you get well soon! I love in the closing comments “you can’t get closer than blood” hahaha 😂 love it!! Best wishes!!
great video, speedy recovery uuh Whiskey always nice , yes might help a little on the cold...lol never heard that ones bitten twice shy oh celebrated my moms birthday today brunch was nice....cheers Peter struggling a bit here with a cold myself crap here we cant get Osage rub mentholated
Paul - *Are you sure you're using the tube of Palmolive that came with the box you showed at the beginning of the shave? What I don't understand is at **15:38**, you state "why aren't you using a menthol shave, Paul? That tube of Palmolive Rinfrescante you showed at **2:10** has quite a bit of menthol in it as that's their menthol version that's made in Italy. I didn't even hear you mention anything about coolness from the cream which I get alot of!*
The worst part of getting a cold is feeling that scratchy throat coming on and knowing that it will take a day or two for it to move to the head an nose. Years ago when I would frequently get colds, I would find that heated Japanese Saki was helpful. Since I started washing my hands about 25 times a day and making mental notes not to touch my nose mouth or ears after shaking hands or touching handles until I wash my hands again, I haven't gotten many colds. A good idea is to carry hand sanitizer and use it frequently. Hope you're feeling better now!
very nice shaving paul,good Sunday!!!
Thanks for your dedication Paul. You really should be careful, you say it's just a head cold but it could well develop into full blown man flu. It's a killer! That single malt helps 👍😉
That combo, open comb and a feather blade would more than likely put me in A&E 😬
Very nice shave sir. Feel better, 🍺💈.
I hope you feel better soon Paul could you please do a review of a the walh made safety razor ..
Thank you Paul for the great video. I caught the cold. Maybe not yours 😉 i made a shave too. First time with the Oneblade Core. Nice shaver! Mild but effective with the Feather blades. Still y little to much like an cartridge razor...
Hope you are well soon! All the best, Jens
Hoping you feel better soon. Thanks & take care. Zac
Do you prefer Palmolive's stick or tube more? I find I get a better scent from the stick but a better lather from the tube. Either way, very inexpensive and they work great! Have a great week, Paul!
Great shave Paul, hope you feel better soon. Keep smiling! You certainly love your lather thick 😂. Love watching your videos on both channels.
I'm using today the 3 one 6, razorock what the puck lime soap, Humphreys witch hazel and Tesco own moisturiser.
Many thanks Josh, yours sounds a good shave :-)
Not just me then haha! My first shave with the piccolo my count of nicks and weepers was in double figures! Loves to bite at ya the old Fatip.
Good shave Paul, I’m shaving with the fatip grande OC for my Sunday Shave later today.
Thanks Paul for your videos ... I hope.you will recover soon ... Could you please one day do a review of the expensive Rex Ambassador DE safety razor ... ?? ... thanks again ... all the best!
A pretty good shave Sir Paul! Thank you for sharing, I know it's a bitch trying to shave with a head cold...feel better!
I like how you closed in on the camera this week...
Thank you for the lovely flowers Mrs.H..
Cheers
David
Executive Shaving's Fuar Ach Snog shaving cream, with pre-shave oil and aftershave balm should clear the sinuses. And a bottle of proper Welsh Penderyn single malt should clear every other known ill.
Excellent video and a great shave! Get well soon,Paul, and don't forget to try the classic "Irisch Moos" After Shave, you will love it...! All the best...
I love the Palmolive shave cream. I live in the US and didn’t know about it till seeing you use it so thank you for introducing me to a great shave cream. Are they ever going to make the PaulHFilms brush again?
Hi Paul.. Great shave whilst being ill, have had the same cold for a week but much better now. Hope you feel better by Wednesday. Great arrangement Mrs H Thank You X.. Have managed a full shave with the Fa Tip Piccolo with no pre shave and no nicks or anything, aggressive razor yes but I find that the Muhle R41 far more aggressive and could only manage the first pass with it.. Hopefully will get better in time.. Thanks again for a great video my friend..Have a great Sunday to you both, Mrs B sends her regards. Take care see you soon:-)
Thanks Chris, yes a nuisance having this, glad your feeling much better, great little razor this isn't it, bit me today though...lol...all the best, have a great weekend, regards to Mrs B :-)
Hi Paul, double brave battling both the bugs and your toothy razor & blade choices there. I invested in a Fatip Grande and Piccolo Special Edition having been influenced by both yourself and Kevy (Shaves). I use both my razors in safety bar configuration and enjoy shaving with them a lot.
Nice video and under trying conditions. Get better soon.
I have the stick and will likely get more. I also have the menthol cream and love them both. Does the “Classic” smell like the stick?
Hi Paul sincerely hope you soon feel better. Lovely choice of music (Morning from Peer Grynt by Greig) to start the day. Can the cube be bought in this country or does it have to come from the states. I find Palmolive is an excellent soap for the money (£1.80 in my local supermarket) with a lovely scent.
Edvard Grieg's Scottish grandfather did spell it Greig (of the clan MacGregor), but when he applied for Norwegian citizenship in 1798, he changed the spelling to resemble the local pronunciation.
And to make things even quirkier, the Morning Mood scene is set in the Sahara desert - rather a long way from North Wales :-)
Hi Paul. If you have a cold or a congested nose, try this, it really helps:
Take your most heavily mentholated shave cream or soap and make a warmest possible lather. It will act like "Vicks". A hot menthol shave is great in winter, even without a cold. ☺️
@flash boredom Yes, I agree.
That Palmolive cream from Italy that he's shaving with is among the heaviest menthol creams available. Good stuff. Vicks contains petroleum jelly so the suggestion of washing the brushes well is a good one. That's why I never used it as a pre-shave after finding out the ingredients.
Thank you so much, Mrs. H!
Thank you from Mrs H
@@PaulHFilms Thank you too, sir. You always have my 👍.
Good shave Paul, i wish you good health. Greetings from Poland.
Buon pomeriggio Sempre il migliore in assoluto ciao.
Hi Paul. Is this V1 or V2 Version of this razor ?
Stirling glacial lemon chill would have cleared your sinuses right up ❄
Good stuff :-)
What do you prefer Paul, this or the grande?
I have all 4 Palmolives. All are great.
Hi Paul I love the parmolive shave cream, I'm always looking for that cube 2 in the UK I know it is an American brand I know you can buy PAA soaps and aftershaves here but the cube 2 it looks a good and I'm tempted to get one of those fatips razors take care and have great week great shave and enjoyed the video 😀
I checked out that paa website, the cube is a decent price, but shipping is expensive
Paul Charlesworth the shipping is what puts me off from buying it shame it is not available in the UK take care and have great week 😀
Hi Paul. I was going to ask how much more aggressive that razor is compared to the black and gold Special Edition that I have. I don't need to now. Have you ever used Sputnik Teflon coated blades? They are giving me some great shaves at the moment. Shouldn't that have been Penderyn single malt? 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴👍
That razor beat you up a bit. Nice video as always and I hope you feel better soon🤒
Feel better!
Great video. Will you make a video with a Parker 94r. I would really like your opinion on this razor. I recently bought one. Fantastic shaves with it.
Palmolive is my all-time favorite cream. I am starting a campaign to encourage you to regrow the goatee 4 Movember. Feel better soon 2!
I have to get that cube it would be great for dying my silver hair I hope Mrs h looking after u with that MAN flu it’s Avery serious condition totally misunderstood drink plenty of fluids preferably the single malt variety lol 😀😀😀 great video as always cheers
Blimey you didn't half look rough. Still, what a trooper - the show must go on!
You have a good taste in whisky Paul
LOVE the piccolo!! But you gotta be careful
Hi Paul, have you ever used the old made in England Wilkinson sword blades? The new ones are German made
HI Alex, yesI was given some products, and in those was some Wilkinson Sword (British) blades, very smooth I enjoyed them :-)
Gm paul great shave👍
Good Morning :-)
Amanda said she hopes you feel better.
Thank you Amanda, all the best Steven :-)
Pre shave Borg Cube.
Wisker resistance is futile.
Hello, Paul, nice shave, for flu try Black Dog scotch 6drinks stat and you will be alright by the evening.
If you like the 10, you should try the 12 or 15. Cheers!
You shown a Palmolive Menthol box though :)
I Love to use a Feather in my Edwin Jagger Razors Paul...!!
Hey Paul, that's so f-king awesome to see you drink scotch before your shave. Do you remember I requested you do a Scotch tasting and shaving video 4 years ago? Cheers, Mark
Happy thanksgiving Paul are having cornish hen or not do they have cornish hen it whales..
Hi Alum😪💐👍💈
Get well soon, Paul! And enjoy that whiskey! It sounds divine.
Lil under the weather huh? 😕 Maybe a Hot Toddy or Vit C and sweat it out will help? 😎👍🏼💈Water, juice, and rest are good as well. 😁👌🏼 Oh. And chicken noodle soup. 😋
I think the next time I shave with my Fa tip and feather blade, I will have several drinks first ..that way I won't feel the blood dripping down my necK!
Since you like sweet whiskey's try Southern Comfort. or B and B brandy. Warm up a brandy glass with hot water for a minute ,then dump it out. Pour the Comfort in it and cover it with a napkin for a minute. When you drink it, you'll feel like a million bucks. and sleep like a baby,. It can be also used in deserts ,cakes and etc. Oh yea....
My menue is just a electric rotary razor Paul..
To my nose palmolive stick and cream smell nothing alike, cream being most similar to haslinger calendula. I haven't tried rinfrescante version though. Whisky plus fatip is rather scary combination lol
200g whiskey and shaving can wait 🤭🤭🤭
That Nose Cold I Just Had I Used No Joke 7 Rolls Of Toilet Paper Blowing My Nose 9 Days Just Got Over It Plus Remember That Place You Had On Your Neck Right Side I Had That Too Now Its Gone And It Makes Shaving Easier 👍 Let’s Hope Your Nose Heals Quickly
Dear God, the combination of the older generation of Fatip which is 38% more aggressive than never versions and the Feather blade is almost suicidal. I'd use a hot towel, 2 different presheaves and a tone of wet lather with that combination, almost as much as with a straight razor.
that's a fine single malt...
