I feel like every fusion with Aquamarine would be monstrous, cause she seems like the type to always want to be in control.

Probably not. I mean Pad has delayed vision, so she will not notice that they are in fact a fusion now until a few seconds after the two unfuse. Hence, they will not fight for dominance and the fusion will be stable for a while, simply because of Pad's confusion.
She would make amazing and really mean comebacks after being silent for like 5 minutes.

Emulia omg when I heard the music I was like KANAYA’s theme?! Glad I’m not the only one to recognize it! Also yup, the music totally makes everything even more perfect than it already is. Tho I also think comparing it to SVTFOE Mewberty is a cool connection as well!

I absolute love your take on this fusion because i really feel it conveys the disoray and chaos that their fusion would cause. How you made it seem loss and hollow by having its eyes being blank and luminiscent. Also her body being relaxed and kinda contorted kindve gave an ominous feeling. I know this sounds weird but its what i saw through your art and i loved it! Definetly one if not my favorite fusion fridays by you.

Darling Kanaya is honestly a really good theme for this fusion, though Kanaya and Pearl are very similar.
Both are elegant, died and came back to life with a ribbon wrapped around their waist, and both are really badass.
Both are also really gay for Rose

I wonder why would she need two sets of legs conjoined? Is it not to faint away in shock from whatever she had remembered/foresought about the past? To stand firmly on her feet when bitter truth is revealed? Someone down in the comments said that Aquamarine never forgets anything and combined with Pad’s “past vision”, they would have full knowledge of any event from the past. Such as Pink's false shattering. Unfortunately, I failed to understand the fusion gem's name, so I cannot deduce other powers the fusion may have. She will definitely be a burden during combat, for as I see her both eyes are involved in the process of making a prediction. So she probably will need someone to guard her at the time. It is difficult to say whether the fusion will be in 'prediction' mode the whole time and struggle to unfuse or she'll be in control of her new ability. Padparadscha is heavily dependent on past vision and cannot control it as perfectly as Sapphire does. And Aquamarine is obsessed with control, so she may want to dig into the past as deeply as possible to build a combat strategy afterwards, that is why fusion's both eyes are busy. This may be a huge problem for them requiring assistance to unfuse.
I'm sure that it will be Aquamarine who will initiate the fusion. She clearly messed up with the list thing back in the day and Pad can relay important information that others might have missed through retrocognition. Aquamarine would like to have that. And she'll initiate the fusion... without Pad's consent. And when done, she'll throw Pad away. In real life, people with mental disabilities are often used by others, so I can definitely see this happen to Pad. And she will not notice this until a few seconds after the two unfuse. This will be heartbreaking and it will make Pad feel used, powerless, and scared. Probably, when fused Aqua will be the only gem in control of the body, so only one pair of legs and one pair of hands will be active, while other pairs will just be there doing nothing. Like a dead body glued to a living person.
Weirdly enough, the fusion will be stable. Partly because the other party will not know that they are in fact a fusion now. Another reason is that the fusion itself has the potential to be healthy. Both gems have distinct personalities, but there are also several traits they have in common. Pad is cheerful and kind while Aqua is cruel, egotistical and destructive. Yet, Aqua has a soft spot, and empathy, she does not mind compromises. And we do not know how Pad would react if she suddenly stops seeing the past for a moment. Her attitude toward Homeworld is also unknown. Maybe, she holds her anger back, who knows. Besides, Aquamarine is an era 2 gem... with no powers. She knows what it is like to be a failure in other gems' eyes. Aqua may not care about Pad's feelings while unfused but she will not ignore them in a fusion. And once they are comfortable with one another, Aqua may give Pad the opportunity to do something as a reward for intel. If they both disliked Homeworld (for different reasons, obviously), Pad could agree to fuse and bring revenge with Aqua's help. Yes, Aqua was pretty unhappy with how things went after Steven became Pink Diamond, so she could wish to cause problems even though she loved Homeworld. With redeemed Aqua, the fusion has the potential to be a joyful and sassy nerd who fancies winning and being right. A little trickster.

Never mind, I found the gem's name at the end of the video. According to Google, Kunzite is known for healing benefits often having to do with love and spiritual peace. For example, many users rely on kunzite to help them achieve unconditional love, center themselves, calm nerves, enhance self-expression, and cultivate a deep selfless love for everyone. So... I was close to being right. Aqua and Pad can warm up to each other and be friendly as a fusion. The potential is there. Yet, knowing Aqua, the story can also be dark and abusive, nothing like Kunzite. I would like to see this fusion in Pink Diamond's court. They would fit nicely.
