People forget! You should keep sweet potatoes to the same space. They are in the morning glory family as you said and that means every little root left in there will make a whole new plant. Same as with asparagus and perenials

You are being too modest I think. Your harvest is fantastic and the size looks awesome and is what you want in a sweet potato.you also learned something by using those grow bags, you learned that they aren't great for growing a crop of sweets but maybe you can still use them for something else in the future.
You did excellent! And I think you should feel good about what you accomplished here. You had a wonderful harvest even though it's your first time, you did exceedingly well and some more experienced than yourself would probably agree with me that you really couldn't have asked for much better. You did really well!

By the way, I noticed some of the words I just typed out turned blue? Not sure why that happened, it was not intentional at all.

Nice harvest, you could add more mulch to your soil and put on a thick top layer then your sweet potatoes won’t curl so bad they’ll grow more straight.

Yes they are! I just don't wash mine because mine are going into storage for winter, I'm not using mine right away.
