@@JadenSepulvado That totally makes sense; if i know correctly this fix still works with new update.. you just have to add epic launcher as a non-steam game & install it from there.. very simple. I have plans to revisit AW2 with fsr 3 mod at some point and currently working on other titles so it might take a little more time to revisit. Hope you understand!! Add it to Steam as a non-steam game -> go to properties of that added shortcut and set compatibility to 'proton experimental' -> install epic. 3. Find the epicgameslauncher.exe (Win32) from steam compatdata directory where it got installed -> add it to steam as a non-steam game -> from properties select compatibility option 'proton experimental'. 4. Run it by pressing Play button on steam -> log in -> download Alan Wake 2 and Launch it after download gets finished. So in this method everytime you are going to play the game you need to start epic from steam and after it starts run Alan Wake 2 from there.

Yes please add Epic Launcher in steam and then put the launch option as i showed in the video. Also you don't need to use any "8gb ram fix EXE", adding those commands will bypass the 8gb ram limitations.

@@solidesh Yes. First I installed the Epic Launcher and ai downloaded the game. Then I added a non steam game just like a shortcut. The game runs but the controllers doesn’t work.

Trying to open the game through Epic Launcher. When I dowload the game through Epic, I select to save in a folder than I could easy find the location. Se the second attempt, once the gme was installed in Epic Store, I create a shorticut Non Steam to open Alan Wake 2 without having to open Epic, I installed d3complier exactly like I did for Epic as you shoed in your video...Step by step, the game opens like I said, but the controllers doesnt work, just the touch. Really Odd... Still rying to get a solution. Im running of course in Beta 3.5.1 Cheers mate. The mistery to figure out how to play this game. hehe, Thank you for your help.

Since we have the same system (Steam Deck) if running it by default with epic launcher is working for me it definitely will work for you too dude. @@solidesh in which folder should I put the DLL files 43.47??? I downloaded them from the internet, my protontricks is not working
@@t1maone That's not how it works!! you have to use protontricks.. it will inject those dll's to the game exe file.
@@solidesh I have the game installed on an SD card, my steam deck is 64 GB, protontricks gives an error, it does not work with the game on an SD card
