I don’t see a sequel ever coming when they still doing DLC meaning that they have all the Z movies that can pull from and Goku black arc and T.O.P and if they want GT the chances they make a sequel when it’s still can run for 5+ years like Xenoverse yeah no way

I really really really really want DBGT to be added as a big DLC😩 Kakarot is literally thee perfect game for its stories since it covers so much adventure and interesting moments. PLUS i really want someone to add/mod Mark Menza's score for that entire DLC if it does happen. it would be wholesome for the childhood part of me❤

Honestly, I think dragonball gt kakarot could potentially be a sequel since while a good chuck of it is on earth there would still be a ton of new areas to explore with the black star ball saga, the baby saga, and even the shadow dragon saga to a lesser extent all provide new places to go explore and fight in.
They are never going back to a full game for gt, they just use ssj4 for dlc cash grabs. Get real.
there is not enough additional content in GT to warrant a fully fledged "sequel" to DBZ Kakarot.
all i can see is that DBZ Kakarot will take the XV2 route and just add content packs or season packs for the additional series's (Super Season Pass - with DB Super story, GT Season Pass - with GT Story and Dragon Ball Season Pack - with the story of the original Dragon Ball series).

because if they can keep creating DLC'S with the same sort of high standards such as the Trunks DLC and the Bardock DLC, this would easily be possible.
i'm guessing in the end after they finish covering all of the Dragon Ball series's they may start adding in some content from the movies as a Season DLC Pass.
and after all of that they could finally "remaster" the game to run at a higher resolution and higher fidelity - perhaps upgrading it from UE4 to UE5 and re-releasing it as "DBZ Kakarot - Ultra Edition" - where they might add in an option for co-op - seeing how in many of the fights in the game you can actually use the party mode.
perhaps even add in a fully fledged online multiplayer mode with the budokai Tenkaichi mode's that will be added in the upcoming 5th DLC
They should do a villans dlc where you play as the villians and end up winning. That way the leveling system starts over. They can do Frieza beating the Z warriors going to earth to find cell and buu thus unlocking gold Frieza etc. Something similar with Cell. Buu can somehow hatch early and sweep everyone as a bonus or something.

A new Dragon Ball game would be great, it'd be cool to play as young Goku in DBZ Kakarot style. Shit I could write a few paragraphs about how much I'd like that.
One of the things I want out of kakkarot as just a small update is the world tournament to be like a arcade mode type of fight against all the Z-Fighters as another way to have some more fun and also make use of the arena
And it could also play as some form of actual training like imagine all the characters soul emblems in the training tab showing up in the tournament
Dragon ball GT DLC pack would be cool for Dragon ball Z Kakarot. CyberConnect 2 can do alot of things for the GT Dlc Like, making a new community emblem, making a new skill Tree for GT Goku , fighting news boss and exploring the new planets for the GT DLC

I think that if they used a lot of the movies made before super that would leave plenty of future updates to Kakarot. While using arcs from super and super hero along with the new seasons of super that's coming out could still leave enough content to make a Kakarot 2 with better graphics, mechanics, and DLC potential.

What if the tournament of power was a big update where you'll get the possibility, after clearing it, to build your own team of characters to fight in it? (Especially since bosses have already fully realized movesets so it'd be a cool stuff to add.)

I was thinking it from the start of the video. I desperately want OG dragon ball covered in Kakkarot.
Two features I am missing is being able to change outfits and be in the transformed state during free roam (I don't mean the transform at battle start thing).
I'm scared that might be too much at one point. Like look and xenoverse 2, they have hundreds of PQs and characters and adding more on top of that. Personally, that's why I'm a little hesitant to get dlc for xenoverse. But that's my thought of thinking

I feel like the tornament of power would not be easy to cover since you have to make like 12 characters for 13 universes all with there own unique move sets and attacks

I'm saying this for years: They should do a prequel with the original dragon ball, then afterwards do gt with all it's different planets you could put tons of Sidequest and locations in there. I would even buy them as separate games. But I don't think they'll do that. 🤷
But to be fair: the late trunks dlc content was covered in super in a flashback but happened during the time covered in Z.

This isn't exactly an arc but i would like a Hyperbolic Time Chamber training ground where you can fight past big baddies like Cell or the androids or in combo matches similar to Xenoverse Time Patrols.

Idea could be the full experience. Start at dragon ball and travel to where we're at at the time they release the game. That would make it feel different enough to make fans buy it plus they can always do the suggestions you mention

Alright get this, Dragon Ball Z Vegeta. You play as Vegeta from birth to heading to earth. Doing random missions and such for Freeza probably similar to how this Bardock DLC will playout
One or two new locations? Considering DBS actually takes place in locations we didn’t see in Kakarot, such as the cruise ship, the Nameless Planet where Beerus and Champa had their tournament and it turned out to be a Super Dragon Ball, Future Capsule Corp(Goku Black era,which is *very* different than the Future Android era), Gowasu’s planet in Universe 10, the Tournament of Power arena, the various locations we saw in the Moro and Granolah Arcs(because those’ll likely be adapted in the anime before the sequel gets made), and the Red Ribbon base in Super Hero, there’s plenty of locations they can add in a sequel. Especially since they can *expand* places that were in Kakarot, like Beerus’ planet.
Thinking about it if they felt inclined and the dlc does well enough then season 3 seems pretty likely to me.

you forgot the Universe 6 Tournament arena, the Zeno Expo arena, the Kaioshin planet from Universe 10, and, if they do Super Hero, the Red Ribbon Army base. Not to mention that they could do the Z movies and get a ton of new places, like Garlic Jr.'s castle, Dr. Wheelo's laboratory, the Tree of Godly Might, New Namek, New Planet Vegeta, the Battle Zones from Bojack Unbound, Jaga's Castle from the Bio Broly movie, Hell, etc.
Know what? Let's go overboard and throw Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans and Dragon Ball GT in there too! We get several new planets, Planet Tuffle, Dr. Lychee's base, and several more places I forgot about!

This might be a little too high but I would love a path to power big dlc treatment.
I'd like to see them take the idea of Kakarot and apply it to different franchises, ie, One Piece, Bleach and naruto
Spider-Man, Spider-Man Miles Morales, Spider-Man 2, all these games take place in the EXACT SAME LOCATIONS and they're great games, A Dragon Ball Kakarot Prequel, & Dragon Ball Super Sequel can work, but it would be cool if the Devs just decided ti interconnect the entire map rather than the hubs of DBZ Kakarot.
Having the DBZ movies in Kakarot would be along with the filler episodes from DB, DBZ, & DBS. also The Other World Tournament fights & Goku Vs Pikkon would be great to see in the sequel game 🎮.
if they make a sequel, maybe they'll cover manga material as well, i.e Moro and granola for more substance (as well as super hero and depending, whatever's beyond that.)
...and/or a game that can cover GT since while not canon to main DB story, thanks to the whole time patroller stuff it does have it's separate canon and things to work with.
both versions offer locations. Especially the baby saga of GT where they have to jump planet to planet to even find the black star balls (before going back to earth and staying there for like the rest of the series)
I wonder how they’d handle tournament of power dlc. I REALLY want it, but in that point of the story the characters can’t fly, and you can only fight flying in kakarot
Literally all of dragon ball series story can be dlc and on top of that if they really wanted to get Spicy with it, there’s Heroes content as well!

Not having any new or a few new locations doesn’t mean they can’t expand on the locations we already have. More interaction, buildings you can go inside, mini games etc etc

There's only two things I'd like to see as a numerical sequel:
A full-on love letter to GT and the DBZ movies
OR an original story in a similar style that explores the pre-Dragon Ball past.
As for Kakarot as is...I do think it needs more playable/unlockable cast members and that's where its DLC ought to come in.
Imagine Piccolo Jr. Saga as the Season Pass's second DLC and Fusion Reborn as the third one with Playable Gogeta
I could see them making a Super: Kakarot as a standalone expansion like Gat Out Of Hell was

If dragon ball super Kakarot went on to the Granola arc and covers and animates the newer Arcs and newer story’s covered in the manga which might not get animated.
i mean location wise they could have it where its diffrents also the trunks area is diffrent in the black arc cause its more darkier while buildings are way more destroyed compared to the z's trunks
The issue with tournament of power or the original Dragon Ball DLC is that the game would need to create ground combat. I still think it would be best if they made Super into a proper sequel and build the areas from the ground up (even make it a full open world this time). They would also maybe have to redo Beerus and Golden Frieza saga for DBS DLC, and Bardock, who will be the DBZ version in this game. So I'm not sure about Super, I guess they can work around all that in some way, or simply just make Super as an standalone expansion that ignores all that.
That's something that annoys the hell out of me with the gaming community. They always beg for sequels even if the game just came out. There was a game that hasnt been out for more than a week and I see people in youtube comments going "where is the sequel????" "When is there going to be a two??" and im sitting there like "Are you kidding me? The game isnt even a month old and you're already bitching at the company for not releasing a second game?!"
Why even ask for a dbz kakarot 2 anyway????? What's to gain? Why ask for a sequel when we're already getting dragon ball super dlc?
