I have no idea how many times I listen to John singing this beautiful song. Sometimes I just play it over and over and over... and cry. Thank you for this song of memory....
When my mom went to Heaven, I heard this song, had never heard it before then. It was a gift to me, it brought me so much comfort. I played it many times for my mom and dad at their resting place. Thank you for this treasure.
aspen1987..This is the most beautiful song....I play it so often.....It is such a comfort as I lost my Dad in 1993 and my Mum passed away in the spring of 2009...I miss my Mum so much.....The song is a gift to us in memory of our loved ones who have passed away and I'm sure a comfort to anyone who listens to it....Thanks for posting
This song means so much to me. I lost my husband after a long struggle against cancer in 2009 and I just lost my sister, also to cancer, on Dec. 22, 2012. I put the chorus of this song in the card that went with the flowers. It is sad, yet hopeful.
I cannot thank enough for leaving this song. As I play it each day, at least ones. It helps me get through some very trying times. Thank you so very much! God Bless you all out there, please use what you learn from your hardships to help others. Johanna Bussing-Vermaas.
i’ve had this song with me since 2001 when the love of my life passed-It helped me for the past 19 years get past some very sad places-The one thing I believe is his beautiful soul is in heaven that was prepared for us. Without that belief, nothing would make sense to me. Thank you for this beautiful song that I have had with me to keep me going
This song more or less became an “anthem” to my wife & I when her brother passed 20 years ago age 46. These lyrics still hold the same magnetism after 2 decades, the words continue to generate tears, never allowing those who have departed to have been forgotten😢🙏
This song had touched my heart so much that I have shared it with each person who feels loss in such a deep way. I heard it at a time I needed it and I hope it does the same for others in the depths of despair. It gives us all hope. Thank you so much.
Written by Eric Bogle, for the families of the wee angels and their teacher who were murdered in the "Dunblane massacre",13th March 1996. A beautiful tribute. One Small Star(Eric Bogle)
I was working in Dunfermline that day and heard the news on the radio at work, but didn't fully realise what was happening until later. So sad and such a waste of life.
A Daughters Love, Hi Mom, When I heard this song I thought that although it was me listening tit,it was meant (maybe as a gift from my Pop) for you. Love You Always Me Long before I heard this beautiful song, I carried it in my heart. And I am sure He's Found his answers, I'll just have to wait for mine,
My darling and considered daughter Maggie who presented me with this song somehow found I wanted to send it as a tribute to her Dad, who I'm sorry to say his children never got to know. He passed at age 29, in Nov.1966. I'm Johanna. Not bigberthawashere? Even so it was so well intended, and I love her dearly for understanding me so well.
God sent this and your singing to me when I need most. thank you John

I lost my little brother in July 2009. This song helps me to keep his memory alive.
Helps us to grieve. Yet inspires and holds us in care.
