Again sorry for a somewhat confusing start to things jumping into the absolute middle of nowhere when it comes to this series but hey its Firefly season and I finally got a chance to record so I just decided if I have to live with all of this intense emotions swirling in my head on repeat about this bean then you do to.

Hey, Hi, Ho and Howdy, Trailblazers and Stellaron Hunters!
That's right gang, we're doing it for Firefly, we're in the stars and we do be railing.
While it might be a bit more selective in how we handle things with other series, we are officially diving into Honkai: Star Rail on the channel. Whether it reactions to Myriad Celestia trailers, Animated shorts, side content or doing recaps of thoughts on the story, or perhaps theories and bits of gameplay here and there (at least for right now)... we're jumping head first into the trash (affectionate) and hopefully having a great time doing it! (There will likely be crying, it's Honkai...).
If you're as excited as I am to jump into this nonsense WAY to late into the game and with basically no build up then I hope you stick around, give the videos some love and maybe even jump into the discord to listen to me relentlessly cry and simp over anime women in space who make my heart hurt.
For those feeling especially generous we do have a patreon as well for anyone who'd like to take advantage of the early access it gives them on MOST of our content on the channel, though as always any sort of financial support is always secondary and never mandatory. Do what you feel comfortable with and nothing more.
I do also ask (more like demand but that's feels rude regardless of how justified) that we absolutely do not spoilers and ESPECIALY LEAKS onto my channel in any way shape or form. Thanks again for watching folks, again know this is something a bit out of left field for me (but also not cause I simp about Firefly in unrelated videos all the time) but something I've always KINDA wanted to play around with so since i'm making another solid push toward content that actually exists and doesn't just sit in my head doing nothing figured this was the time to do it (again if my schedule had allowed literally like two days ago, the Myriad Celestia Trailer would have been the start but we know how schedules and I get along, bout as well as a SAM and the swarm TBH.

@@double-hit3332 I honestly think that in terms of dubs...JP is below English....English just fits Star Rail better
I think they do a perfectly fine job (also I should definitely double down that I think they do good cause I watched quite a few JP reactions to this short in particular and Firefly's JP VA does an INCREDIBLE JOB here especially. Again fine at other parts but here was definitely a massive step up) but yeah in general the EN dub for Star Rail is just SO god damn good.
Like its kinda crazy how consistently above and beyond members of the cast go in this game. I'm a big lover of dubs in general, and always wanna push people to try the standouts and Star rail is definitely one of those.
Also in general I just find it somewhat silly when clearly English as a first language speakers play it in the JP dub, cause like... its not like most anime where you have the argument that its the OG and you're doing it for like artistic reasons... nah you're just a weeb haha.
But again that's very much a silly me thing, who is also a silly weeb to be fair.
Let's just hope Fireflys character trailer is happy. She and We derserve it after this :3
I just want a good old tokusatsu reference, or maybe some Glammoth propaganda showcasing the heroic deeds of the Iron Cavalry, not sure what I want.

Just for some extra context for those who don't know this takes place during the Swarm Disaster and thousands of years before the start of the game. The Glamoth Empire and the Queen Titania are long dead by this point and the Iron Calvary is just fighting for Glory for the Empire or something similar to Nier Automata's situation if you played the game. What I'm not sure about is if this cinematic takes place during the end of the Swarm Disaster and they are just fighting the remnants. Also, Firefly was in a deep sleep or coma for years so when you see Kafka at the end its probably years later not during the Swarm Disaster. ALSO, you only see the Firefly Type 3 SAM models not the others so there is a chance we may see the others from the previous trailer in the future. There could have also been other models on other parts of the planet, and we just didn't see them in this cinematic.
Apparently the type 5 was concept art for Firefly, which might mean they were all concept art... Also, Firefly was floating in space for a very long time, probably hundreds or more years, probably in stasis, and as far as I know they all suffered from entropy loss symdrome, so they may have died from that if they survived the war... Hopefully that's not the case.
Surprisingly watching you yap from start to end for nearly an hour is more enjoyable than watching Tecton reaction to the same stuff for 10 minutes.

In general (for whatever reason) was kinda worried my style might not go over super well when jumping into Star Rail stuff... always a bit of a worry whenever I do something on the newer side just because its a real 50/50 whether someone's gonna enjoy listening to me just babble away.
Thanks to everyone who's been so supportive out the gate, especially for a not so late, but quite late entrant into the space. =)
I'm conviced that Sparkle is just trolling, while at the same time helping our characters develop, after all her whole thing is being a support character for the main characters from the background.
I generally assume something to this effect too, being so wrapped up in the elation as she is her just setting up a metric ton of fake bombs or something like that just to mess with people wouldn't be even remotely out of the question. Especially when you view it from that "supporting character" lens you mention that she's all about in that one short.
Hope so anyway, regardless of exactly what her real action ends up being, I can't imagine she does anything TOO terrible... bad maybe sure but nothing so terrible as to make her a genuinely terrible person. I mean i'm already not a huge fan of the lass personally, but there's a big difference between "she's kinda obnoxious and a dash racist" and "Oh she just blew up the most beloved character in the game for shits and giggles, so quirky so random" ya know?
We'll have to see exactly what she's got going on but, don't think you're particularly far off. Especially if she's got anything more going on in the background which based on a thing or two she's said (still trying to piece together EXACTLY what she was on about with Aventurine and the whole "working with us" thing she was going for... sounded like a bit more than just a robin hunt to me) I could see it.
Also should mention know i'm not the only one who's had the idea, that for one reason or another she is actually working if not WITH Elio then for him in order to push things along in the script, which would definitely help lean into that helping to support everyone else thing, pushing Aventurine, the trailblazer and potentially even Firefly here with the bombs in order to get them places where they need to be. Maybe again touching on the "death of SAM, not Firefly" idea... its set up to look like she's gonna do our girl dirty, but that's not just intentional from a meta perspective but in universe as well, giving FF the out of SAM with a bomb sort of thing.
Don't know, its interesting. Again not a huge Sparkle fan but there is a few interesting ways she can go from here for sure.

Knowing fireflys lore it would have done firefly an injustice to not include the swarm disaster but i didnt think they'd show Adlivun. The moment of Nanooks ascention because of firefly and her becoming his first emanator along side the destruction of his homeworld as he ascended. To think relative to her worst moments in the lore this i still 1 of the better time peroids for her but thankfully there is a good chance for her to achive her dream because a power like Glamoth doesn't simply disappear unless they want to... so I think Titana and the Firefly clones did achive their goal otherwise it doesn't make sense for them to simply disappear. Thankfully that would mean Fireflys dream is still possible even after her own people turned on her.
There's so many reasons to why i believe the planet is Adlivun.. as explained on the above but when nanook ascended was also when the 5 other Aeons teamed up to deal with tazzy and end the war... which would match when firefly joins the steallron hunters at the end of the trailer as well.
Huh... Honestly the idea of homegirl becoming (hell one at all, let alone the first) an emanator of destruction due to everything, especially with like how you mentioned Nanook did ascend during the swarm disaster, and giving a much more solidified reason for her and her SAM to escalate in power to insanely compared to the others beyond just (she's got a very strong will, like how its been mentioned before) is a really neat concept I'd not really considered.
Considering what she was able to pull off, (especially compared to our kinda poster child for Emanators so far in the game with Acheron), the timing and setting... That could be a really interesting thing to be implying....
Yeah super neat idea... especially cause I'll gladly take any sort of chance to gas up the girl more, let her be a whole entire Emanator (Would that make her a Lord Ravager then at that point or not because she doesn't play with the Anti-matter legion at all?) would certainly do that.
And (assuming and praying she stays with us that long) if this were the case, id be honestly fairly fascinated how that could play into things as the story progresses and we get to the big showdown with the big glowing tantrum thrower.... That could be very interesting.

Yea I'm hoping it's true since there's an awful lot of concidences lining up... time wise as well with kafka being there at the end 2.
I have too many theroies on chacters lol from what I know about Titania as well at the very least there's still a chance for firefly to meet her (check glamoths rope lore). Doesn't make sense for for glamoth to just vanish in history without a fight... except if it's what they wanted and it just happens to line up with both Titana and the Fireflys dream. Which is to live a normal life.
Hehe u should see the theroies i have on Sampo, and people think Sparkle is crazy, they might hate sampo more than sparkle even if sparkle succedds in killing firefly as the 1st trailer hints at xD
