I like how in the start of the demo, all the SAMs were struggling against the swarm requesting reinforcements, then after a moment you hear the IPC requesting reinforcements against Firefly, such a good a detail

Well, the entropy loss syndrome is the side effect of her "creation", (well, she was created in a lab like her fellow fyrefly units). If u watch/rewatch her myriad celestia, every transformation by a fyrefly unit from SAM to "human form", the syndrome shows so... It's not only unique to firefly. Plus, the closest thing to hi3s corruption is the stellaron "corruption" --you either turn into a crystal or become a fragmentum monster
Yes I know all of this, but none of their marks have ever turned red before like Firefly did. Also for all we now that mark that shows when they transform could be a form of corruption because they are not made or meant to live a long life, they were created to be weapons and thats all.
@@LegionzGaming91imo the red marks on ff when red Sam holds her neck is like ff wants to forget her past (her being just a weapon to the swarm disaster) and wants to live in like a normal human being that has a free will to choose their own path
I believe her boosted powers are just her burning through her life faster which is why the flames take the colour of her cracks. It's even called "complete" combustion state in her kit to show she's giving it her all. As to why other glamoth units don't do it might just be due to self preservation rules like the 3rd important rule for androids in stuff like detroit: become human - case in point, the myriad celestia where the escort unit that dropped keep bringing up their rules and strictly follows them and tells the other three to do the same, including to remain in the cockpit (which firefly has referred to before in 2.0 story as a medical cabin).
The point in the animated short where she powers up after questioning what's the point of living if we just die is her having an epiphany of sorts and choosing to finally fully fight for herself; alternatively, because she properly understood that death comes sooner or later anyways, she decided to just burn through everything she had to, i assume, ensure the swarm is destroyed in that battle (a bit of a dark assumption considering the more uplifting music but could also be interpreted as her finally achieving a sort of freedom, not to mention we see her floating in space without the suit on as if she was definitely gonna die if it wasn't for the stellaron hunters finding her).
I personally just want it to be something along these lines rather than her getting some power from an aeon or bloodline or whatever cuz it makes more sense for her character for it to be through her own person.
All of this is mostly correct, but The Stellaron hunters found her thousands of years later because the Glammoth War was over 4,000 years ago, so she was floating there for thousands of years until they found her.

nah lol you guys have too much copium. It has been stated multiple times in multiple pieces of lore that she is the sole survivor of Glammoth and that war was over 4,000 years ago. They are all dead besides Firefly

I don't think Hoyo is capable of replicate Himeko's death. That's just iconic and probably nothing would hit the same especially in a game when we always switch places and meet new ppl. It just doesn't work in a games like this. Also, this trailer doing it's job perfectly for being so mid, cuz I'm skipping FF and trailer was the scariest part

Like, you're straight up glazer if you say that this trailer is on par or better than Sparkle, Acheron, Kafka, Boothill or Aventurine trailers. There's no way. I'm not saying that it's terrible from like cinematography, animation or art wise, it's just doesn't hold the same level to me. Music is kinda meh, can't defend that. Also, the cinematic and myriad celestia were peak, this trailer just didn't hit as hard as them, not even close. I like FF as a character but I'm not a fan of her gameplay, but trailers usually are what makes me pull for characters despite me not liking them. Like, I almost pulled for Sparkle just cuz of her trailer being insanely good and I fucking hate Sparkle
