I have said it before and I will say it again- them putting those tap lights on the big ball was the absolute smartest decision they’ve made in a while. Epcot is in the middle of such a big change, but effort vs return this feels like the best thing they did. I’m glad to see they’re hammering old school figment so hard- means we have a real good chance of getting a quality redo, hopefully including Dreamfinder with how much of his audio they’ve been using!
Wow, all that music from the original ride! The popularity of Figment just keeps growing and hopefully more people will be introduced to the Dreamfinder. Then it's time to do a 21st century version of the original ride with updated technology.
A couple of thoughts. First, and most importantly, this brings me joy and is bittersweet too. Journey was wonderful and to see it relegated to a nighttime show makes me and sure many you wish it was back as a ride. Lastly, this soundtrack sure seems like it may have come from one of the many quality recreation flow-throughs made by many a fan.
Thank you for filming this WDWNT! I think that Disney is testing to see if people still care about Dreamfinder and Figment (we all care about them), assuming this test proves successful, we may see a redo announced in the coming years. I would love for them to make it trackless, as I feel that is the perfect ride system for a Figment 4.0 with Dreamfinder. They use their imaginations to make the vehicles go anywhere they want, maybe even reuse the elevators from Rise of the Resistance and remake the Dream-catcher but actually be “flying”! I feel life Figment and Dreamfinder have a bright future ahead.
The lights on Spaceship Earth are the best thing from the 50th. I love all the shows and music. Seeing it in person back in 2021 was magical. Going again this year in Oct with the rest of the fam. Hope they enjoy it as much as I do.
I feel like we’re constantly being teased and led on. While it’s nice that we’re getting more Figment and Dreamfinder recognition, they haven’t shown any drive to actually do something with the attraction as it stands today.
It’s never too late for Disney to completely renovate Journey Into Imagination and somehow make it not as equal as it’s 83 predecessor but a version that would really own the title of being considered the “successor”
For what? the past 20ish years we've had to deal with the hot mess they gave us after destroying the original Imagination Pavilion. Crazy how many many visitors won't understand where this great song came from! Give us back some form of the original Pavilion please.
I wonder who voices Figment in this as well as nowadays whenever he's used. I know in the Eric Idle version of the ride, he's voiced by Dave Goelz, the voice of Gonzo from The Muppets. Just curious
I miss the Glory of the original park. What I've seen the past few years is a hot mess and not worth the cost. I still have my stuffed Figment from some 30 years ago. It's a shame that Disney let this park go for so long.
Just stop it with Figment. Bring back Stravinsky, Arron Coupland, Tchaikovsky , Sousa, heck throw in some Philip Glass in low doses. The light tech is very very good.
You DO realize this is EPCOT/IArtsFestival, right? He's the mascot...they change it for diff. events...playing now is ORIGINAL music of the park? Hope that clarifies.

Yes I am like 300, lol. I love Figment. I remember seeing him when I went to EPCOT in 83, parents bought me all things Figment. Still wish I had them.
Whoa, so much Figment out today! To think, the original ride doesn't turn 40 for another two months.

I saw this show tonight. In person the stereo positioning mix is great. Someone took some time to get this right!
So good to hear dreamfinders voice and the original figment voice. Hopefully this is a sign of good things for the imagination pavilion soon.

Figment will always be my Favorite! The Original Journey into Imagination will be Memorized for many Generations!
