Ugh, water is the enemy that we need to be friends with. 😢 I’m glad you found a long-term solution.
Yeah... we are glad that we caught it before it got real bad.. it helped that it was also 100 degrees out and we could get the bottom opened up to dry out. Thanks guys
On our check out/hitch up list is strap down the kitchen faucet, and turn off the water pump. When we leave the RV for the day, we always shut the water and propane off, (unless drycamping propane for fridge). We have had a water alarm in the basement since day one. Ours is not connected to anything just an annoying sound goes off when any water hits the basement floor near the water heater. But i love your new high tech devices. I think we will check it out. Make turning off your water when you leave for the day, part of your normal routine. This is an important topic for any RVer. Larry
Yeah.. we turn the water off now.. and we make sure that before we hook up and pull everything on our. panel is off. We actually made a sign we keep by the door that says WALL... Water, Awning, Lights, Locks.. it is a great reminder to check everything before we go. Thanks for the great insights.

Thankfully no damage, got to it quickly and have a few 100 degree days where we could open everything up and let it dry. Thanks… miss you guys!

Even when you are able to dodge that bullet Jerry, it still hurts my heart knowing how bad this could have been for you guys. Thankfully you got it all taken care of without issue - whew 😅

WOW! Glad everything came out good. Great Neighbors. Water can cause a lot of damage so glad all is well. Never thought about water sensors but what a great device. We may get some of them as well. Glad at this time in my life I dont need one in bed. LOL… Sorry this happened to you all …But the outcome was very good and sharing this incident will help others. Miss you guys.👍👏🤗❤️🙏
Miss you too. That could have been a lot worse.. we seem to dodge bullets often... Hopefully these alarms will give us some early detection and we can get ahead of the situation before it gets bad. Thanks Guys!

We’ve had a carbon monoxide problem. Wasn’t nice. We also have sensors for water now after black tank flush leaked 😢
Oh thank goodness our flood was all grey water... Black water.. I think I would have just set fire to the rig and walked away. Thanks guys

What if you don’t have WiFi or cell reception?
The alarm will still sound, you may not get the alert on your phone. We use the TMobile home and have only not had WiFi in one location. Thanks
