- Our Marine Unit recently assisted in releasing a manatee at Horton Park in Cape Coral.
In March 2021, Bellissima the manatee, was found badly injured and weighing 750 pounds. Bellissima was transported to ZooTampa at Lowry Park where she received care.
After 15 months of recovery, Bellissima is now in good spirits and weighs 1,500 pounds!
