The best way to cheese this boss is to use Rotten breath and apply it, run back to the grace, and repeat until it’s dead. You should use grave-school talisman too boost the damage, and crepus’s vile to get closer.

The annoying thing about him is it feels like there’s no windows to attack. I could sit and dodge all his attacks for half an hour, if i wasn’t attacking but as soon as i do i get punished
Basically the best way for me was to put on my best best shield, (stone fingerprint), and rivers of blood. Hit when I can, and not get greedy. Dodging him can be very very dodgy..... I suppose if you are a light roller, maybe you get more i-frames, but that is, nor ever will be my playstyle.
Ive dealth with this with just 3 tries using Rock sling (astrologer) in my 1st game , now in my journey 2 using Melee with at least 80 strength/dexterity and 35 arcane , used every possible buff on defense and offense, got overwhelmingly killed 6x already , did it got nerfed on the patch?

I just beat this guy finally. Basically used him to practice parrying with the buckler. By the time I got him I was parrying the ever living shit out of him and it felt amazing! I'm only able to parry one of his sword swings but it's the one he uses most and it's usually right after throwing fireballs. So just dodge the fireballs and when he runs up on you parry the sword swing, then heavy attack, which knocks him back most of the time, and run in to get a couple more regular swings it. Dodge away after that. Rinse and repeat until he's dead.
Use the 2 curved swords with seppuku, flame grants me strength and just keep on jumping and spam light attack, and before it even takes out its weapon it dies. If you doubt me I will send you a vid of me beating it as I said.

you should get it!! can be played hard and can be played easy just search up some op weapons and game is piece of cake!! but do not search for op weapons at the start, have fun and explore the map :D

I beat this guy with 2 Other characters with not much problem at all now all of a sudden he seems to be this humongous impossible boss that can’t be beat it’s the craziest shit I’ve ever seen I get them down to one hit and all of a sudden he electrifies itself and I can’t get anywhere near him because as soon as I try to get close to him he shocked the shit out of me and kills me this game is so overrated this game is terribly broken and it’s garbage

This is a hard boss on its own, but it's ridiculously hard when you put him on an Incline/Decline.
Had to level up like 20x to finally beat this guy, and he drops some OK Armor and 30K ruins 😮
