    People always comment on Serena's power and of course it takes strength to hit a ball like that but the timing that it also takes to master that is nothing but skill. She does not get enough credit

    Serena, not only had a monster serve. She had a deadly return of serve. Serena's return of serve was my favorite part of her game. She would return your serve faster to you. I miss those moments with the GOAT! 🎾❤💖💛

      It's more than muscles. Sharp eyes, technique, and perfect timing are all things she needs for those muscles to connect with the ball and get it in the best spots.

    Now, everybody is hitting the ball like that, so Serena has not only changed the game, but also the way players are hitting the ball! Now EVERYBODY is trying to hit the ball like sending off a missile. We usually get talked about badly, then everybody else comes along and imitate us. Naomi Osaka was the only one that owned that fact!

    I never had much interest in tennis thought it was a bore. I love how the Williams sister brought power (do men even hit ball clocked at 155 mph), strength, determination, flair, style and color, lots of color into the game. I kinda hate to see them getting up in age and depart from the sport, but we know they can’t continue in championship mode forever.

    1. The return against Ivanovic In Dubai is extremely underrated due to the quality of video…that one might have been the fastest

    There isn’t even anyone on the ATP who hits returns like this. I get that the men’s first n second serves are faster on average, but that isn’t always the case. I don’t get why no one commits to truly attacking the weaker second serves on the ATP. It’s a huge opportunity

      Azarenka is equal as strong as Serena her fastest serve and forehand are up there with both Sisters that's why their rivalry is the only true one. She could rally with Serena. Azarenka however couldn't chase the balls down her foot work was her only downfall. I love wayching their matches because the first couple of games is all about ball bashing to see who can tire who out first. Azarenka always came up short chasing the balls down. Shes not good on the run.

    Her Game was described by a British Commentator as ‘’Bringing A Storm To The Courts”. The ferocity with which she hits the ball is just unplayable. No female player has ever played like that.
