    I hope you will not have problem with this mount bc Bray Falls (Astrofalls, you know him of course 🙃) has a problem with his mount and he told us the SB sav is not the best 😅)
    Hope you will have fun (but being serious 😄) with this superb mount. 👍

  • @Sharpless2

    $6K is absolutely crazy. Even crazier is that the Mount does NOT come with a tripod. The Tripod you saw in the Video is sold seperately and costs $1350.
    Payload capacity and PE kinda makes up for its (tripod+mount) $7350 price tag but its starting to get overkill from here.
    Ofc if i had $15K lying around i would buy it, and buy scope+cam+guiding setup with the rest. But for now, i think your normal equipment will serve you well for the next 10 years.
    Im so stoked to see your results!

    • @GalacticHunter
      @GalacticHunter  4 года назад +1

      Yes it has a pretty crazy price tag, we started writing the review and we talk about this and why a regular, more affordable mount can be totally fine for years to come.

  • @davepastern

      Thanks! yes it's pretty unbelievable that we're able to use this mount!

    • @davepastern
      @davepastern 4 года назад

      @@GalacticHunter it looks nice enough, but I'm on team astro-physics lol...not a fan of software bisque (terrible software licences for starters, reliability issues with mounts that at this price point, should never occur imho). Still, the myt, is a nice mount. I'm hoping to eventually acquire a 2nd hand AP900, or preferably, AP1200. The mach2 is nice too.
      I'm sure you'll make very good use of it and get cracking shots with it!
      I'm also curious to see how you compare it to the current mount that you use - is the price differential really worth it, etc. An in depth review of the myt would be a very nice idea, and a comparison video too would be awesome!

  • @fazergazer
    @fazergazer 4 года назад

    That’s a dream mount. Now you need a permanent pier mount in an observatory.!

    • @GalacticHunter
      @GalacticHunter  4 года назад

      Yes that would be so awesome! But not sure if it's worth the trouble because our backyard is pretty small and there are trees/houses around so it would have to be almost in the middle... We'll think about it.

    • @fazergazer
      @fazergazer 4 года назад

      Galactic Hunter same problem here at my place.., I bet you can run a simulation from various points and see which maximizes coverage of desired objects. Maybe two piers and two observatories one for summer one for winter (ha)!
