Germany and the United States have officially announced that they will send tanks to Ukraine. The British authorities made a similar promise in mid-January. It involves Leopard-2, M1 Abrams, Challenger-2, and other European tanks. Over 300 tanks will be delivered to Ukraine by the end of the year.
This war in Ukraine is turning into a real tragedy for tanks. Before evaluating Leopard-2s, M1 Abrams, and Challenger-2s, it's worth describing their unfortunate situation.

What makes anyone think that the same tactics will be used? Logistics will be difficult so rebuilding brewed up armour will be interesting, besides which russian doctrine doesn't take into account their tank crews, so losing them means no experience for following units.
Given what we've seen from Ukrainians so far, I think we may learn entirely new ways to use these tanks.
Most tanks will be leopard 1... With almost no armor
But they are as fast as leo2 and can drive over much more bridges because of it’s less weight
Also the training Programm will be easier and faster. The repair procedure also will be easier. Helpfull with the right tacticts. And better than nothing
It’s getting to be any tank is better than no tank at this stage.

Смотрите много CNN. там говорят только правду и ничего кроме правды. Особенно про то, что Россия начала войну. И как в Ираке нашли ядерное оружие. Дальше продолжать?
