I have never related more to Cartman than during his Pandemic song. And I was worried because when you’re agreeing with Cartman; you’re probably In The wrong…. But NOT THIS TIME! SOCIAL DISTANCING WAS SO GREAT! I miss it so much. Work-from-home 5 days a week was AWESOME.
Fun fact: Trey and Matt had a feeling that South Park would suddenly get canceled because they weren’t able to make new episodes. So they met with all the members of their crew and worked to create this very special, thus saving the show from cancelation
@@traviseller8160 It wasn't a fear in that scenes. It's from an article talking about how they have been expecting to get cancelled for years. And more so when PC came back hard, and this time not from the right like it used to be, but from the left. " According to Parker, he’s just waiting to get “run out of town.” “I think what we said is like, we’re those kids that are never gonna excuse ourselves from the table,” said Parker while speaking to Vanity Fair. “We’re going to wait to be excused. We’re going to wait to be thrown out. It’s just been a mentality for us-and in a way, it’s been a healthy mentality-that we, from the beginning, thought, ‘O.K., well, this isn’t going to last. Any minute now, we’re going to get run out of town.’” "
Yeah, the lockdowns fucked things up for a lot of kids, there's an entire generation of kids now who don't know how to communicate or interact with people because of that. Hell, children these days aren't even playing with toys past like age 5, they're all on smart phones and ipads, they literally don't know how to play or have fun, or use imagination, and it's all deliberate. Sure, it started about 10 years ago, but it got worse in the last 5. I remember when people were called every insult under the sun for saying the virus came from china, and yet, that was where the earliest reported cases came from. (and after Twitter got under sane management, low and behold, all the documents that proved those claims correct came ot the surface) Just like the influenza pandemic of 1918-1920, the earliest recorded victims of that plague was a train full of chinese soldiers arriving at a military base, all of them were sic, and all of them were dead shortly after arrival. That plague killed more people in 2 years than the 4 year war that preceeded it. "Offering a solution to a problem you caused" that's literally any corporate business model.

Probably because the rate it was killing people. It was so bad they had to shut everything down so that'd be my guess.
