In Russia, things are also bad with this. @@TheMeloettaful Yeah it's better to tackle important issues like celebs being stupid and Royals seeking attention than it is to tackle a diabolical racket that's deliberately creating an unhealthy nation riddled with health issues - leading to more citizens needing medical care and more people dependent on medication - increasing the profit margin of Big Pharma, insurance companies, political lobbyist, the few multinationals that control the food products on the shelfs [there's only 4 of them go ahead and check]. They should have done this a while ago. I don't get why it took celebs forcing a scarcity in diabetes medication to finally get them to tackle this but I'm glad they did it and I love how they did it. Maybe you are right that they were waiting for the right time. I have to admit they blended the many issues that feed into one another seamlessly.
Tbh most people living right now still think (believe the lie) that sugar is "generally recognized as safe". Same with carbohydrates in general, some people even say we need them when there are millions of people out there eating a keto/carnivore diet, barely any carbs at all for decades without getting fat and sick. It's just a more hidden problem, the whole world is brainwashed and conditioned from a young age to become a sugar addict some more so some less so but still. I'm just so glad they made this episode to "expose" both the sugar industry and the medical system.
NO, the medicine doesnt do that. it's just Randy thinking it does. Ive been on everyone they mentioned in the episodes. They can give you "stomach issues" but not a "high". They work mostly by slowing digestion so that food stays in your stomach longer and doesnt pass through you so fast. This leads to you not feeling hungry because you still have it in you so you eat less because you are simply not hungry (and also you fill up faster when you do eat) and therefore lose weight.
So for any of you wondering, Semaglutide, comes from a class of drugs that work by activating the Glucagon-like peptide receptors (GLP-1) to increase the amounts of insulin that is released from the pancreas. It also has an additional side effect of slowing down the rate at which food can leave your stomach and enter your intestines, called delayed gastric emptying. This then means that you feel full for longer after each meal and suppresses your appetite, which is why people lose weight while taking the drug without really even trying. So it can help treat Type 2 Diabetes while also helping someone to lose weight, which also helps with the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. Semaglutide is more commonly known by the name Ozempic.

Obesity is a disease. Oprah Winfrey says so. LOL! Also, the rotery phone... OMG, why do I remember rotery phones? in the 90s, in Bangladesh, many houses still had those rotery phones.
So I'm extremely overweight and in my mid thirties now... I haven't been able to get this drug yet. But I was diagnosed with ADHD and went onto vyvance which is also an appetite suppresent... and holy shit dude. Before the vy I had no idea I had foods I disliked or liked. I mean I knew in concept I 'disliked' food... but I still ate it all. Like fruit cake. I got a couple of free fruit cakes, Iknew I 'didn't like it', but still I managed to eat both of them very quickly. But now on the vy? It was the most fucking big shock to discover I actually DO dislike certain foods. The biggest shock to put things I liked away from shopping and actually forget I bought them... like, a week later, oh yeah... I forgot I bought that! Before the vyvance I NEVER could forget about food. I'm three years on the vy now and still trying to figure out what foods I dislike and still forgetting about delicious food I bought in the freezer or whatever, like food is no longer first and foremost in my head, still able to buy good food and expect it to last for weeks. Before vy I couldn't have ever bought a tub of ice cream and just leave it in the freezer, only getting a small amount out of it at a time, or flat out forget I put it there in the first place lol... before vy that ben and jerry would have been gone by the end of the day. And ...I LOVE snacking on salad. Like. Wtf. But for some reason all of a sudden my brain craves to snack on salad because it actually tastes great. So yeah. I don't know how or why but it's pretty clear my brain has been really fucked up about food intake. I really hope my doc can get me on those injections to help reprogram this shit. And hopefully with a gastric sleeve I might be able to actually get to a better weight and start living life. It was actually kind of surprising to see southpark actually take this angle. A really welcome one. Growing up with Southpark and cartman being taunted for his weight... I hate to admit it but it really fucked with my head. Esp as I am ALSO 'big boned' LMAO ....apparently if I can lose this weight I've got a hella strong body for a woman and these thick ass bones might make me a beast of a fighter.
actually getting drugs through mexico or canada or even cuba is hundreds of times cheaper and is the exact same medicine. Wegovy in the USA is 1200 a month, yet its only 400 a month in canada. Insurance is a complete scam in the US.

"If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with BLANK while taking the drug ozempic, you may be entitled to compensation." If it isn't cancer or something else terrible then I'll take it.
The cereal characters were funny as fuck hahaha
14:17 uhhhh WHAT SICK WOULD DO THIS TO CEREALS PEOPLE LOVE AND KFC !?!
14:33 That's the most Discusting thing I ever hurd.
14:57 that's amazing Good for you boys. 15:40 what the ? Why are they so made for ? 16:08 , 16:10 , 16:13 , 16:22 / 16:27 Well deserve I was just feeling bad for him.
I died of Laughter when Captain Crunch gave Cartman Lizzo
5:56 lol I'm dying butters just accidentally roasted cartman 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn you cut the Lost Boys montage, that had me crying...😂😂
23:46 🤣 because "they're bastards!" Lol!
Ive never found myself saying "go kyle" before. This episode is awesome
24:44 I like that even though Cartman is a jerk, everyone cares about himXD
dude already lost weight once. all they have to do is tie him to a cross and leave him for a few days.
Or maybe don't eat cereal bombs!
South Park is the funniest episode in 2024 ❤️❤️❤️
Maybe it's cause Ozempic really hasn't been talked about that much in my part of europe, maybe I should watch the news more but I couldn't get into this one. It makes its point about ten minutes in,that these weight drugs are more addictive than heroin and then it just keeps going for 40 mire.
17:38 The Lizzo jingle got me 🤣
20:13 Cartman's tummy grumbled 🤭
This is so out of character for Kyle. He is supposed to tell Cartman that he can work his fat ass out and eat less in order to loose weight. He was supposed to say, that a drug is not the only way, but Cartman can actually do something, instead of taking the easy way with the drug.
What he does here is just not like Kyle at all.
You gotta love these Mad Max showdowns.
I love the scene when Randy put the injection in and they played the lost boys song lol.
My favorite reference in this special was the Lost boys reference personally
I was laughing at the idea that Kenny creating the injection and giving it to cartman was like the prequel/backstory to him becoming dr. McCormick in the covid episodes
This was pretty good especially the end big chase scene. Good for them giving the lesser used South Park moms a bit of a feature.
It's actually crazy how much more expensive these meds are in the US compared to here in germany
'Mom already thaid I can wear it!' 🤣😂🤣 got to be the best line Randy ever said.
I love this special so much, im glad you reacted to it lol. I dont comment much but i appreciate you spoiling us with 3 episodes in one day, really just made my day. Here are some episode requests if you wanna see them❤
Season 14 episode 10 'insheeption'
Season 6 episode 4 'fun with veal'
Season 8 episode 4 'you git F'd in the A'
Season 12 episode 8 'the china problem'
Season 16 episode 3 'faith hilling'
I was not ready for the butters interstellar reference.
Randy and Sharon doing molly at the end was so unexpected and great 😂
Im honestly shocked this episode didnt cover the whole debacle with the girl who had her teeth fall out because of ozempic (allegedly, not proven) and the girl who had her cooter fuse shut because of it. (Also alleged, not proven)
the writers probably dont want to get shot by the drug cartel
@@skarmachild Seems a weird place to stop. Maybe they just hadnt heard those stories, cause they would have made fantastic content. Just like gluten making that doctors dick fly off.
How does taking meds fuze your vagina shut? Like it would make since if it swollen shut put fused together?
@@CharlesEpperly-mr8ou idk man i didnt read too deep into it. Didn't really want to know the exact process of what happened lol
literally fell out laughing at the parody of the Lost Boys "cry little sister" scene
The shitting out the ears , came so randomly and unexpectedly that it broke me. I laughed and i laughed.
Solid special.
I did prefer the drink special over this one.
Honestly a pretty good special for real, felt a bit like imagination land with the cereal mascot but maybe that making fun of Nextflix’s movie about poptarts and the mascots of companies are real, knowing Matt and Trey this could definitely be it, or just something they found funny to represent the sugar industry lol wich is very probable too haha. But hey, loved having your reaction this early man keep up that grind 😁
This was Lowkey the first South Park special that felt like an actual episode of South Park in a long time
Obesity is a disease. Oprah Winfrey says so. LOL!
Also, the rotery phone... OMG, why do I remember rotery phones? in the 90s, in Bangladesh, many houses still had those rotery phones.
React to Jerad has aides cartman did the most fucked up thing to butters
Your reaction to the stormy daniels… TOP!! But fr the fact they somehow missed p drizzy is crazy
I loved alot of this special, I just think it was a MASSIVE missed oppurtinity to make Cartman skinny for the next two or so seasons to tell another slightly more serialized story (like they did with Cartman an Heidi in season 21)
As soon as I finished this special, I had to watch your reaction. This episode was hilarious. Kyle was a bad motherfucker, he stands on business!
LETS GO!! NEW SPECIAL REACTION!!! ❤❤ Thanks for all the uploads
These specials are great! But I am still waiting for season 27 😢
I have to ask. Why is it none of the kids thought to come back at Cartman by calling him an asshole? They used to go after cartman for being such a dick I mean what the hell happened
8:35 let's not forget Kyle is the son of a lawyer.
I watched this episode yesterday & it sure was funny as hell & clever as hell too. I looked forward seeing you react to this special & CANT wait for season 27 of South Park & more South Park Specials. South Park is still still funny & going strong even to this day. 💙
Broooo 3 episodes basically at once ❤ thats awesome
*Oprah Winfrey said so!*
God I knew South Park was gonna make an episode about obesity
They did a lot of episodes about it. But this one was the wildest 😂😂😂
Didn't expect this same day!! Hell yeah!!
I love how youre on top of this so early! This was one of my favorite specials hands down. Counting the days til they release their project with Kdot! I wonder if Lizzos seen this? 😂
I saw the episode when it came out yesterday ! Do you know why I can’t see it today ? Did they get sued !????
It is still on paramount plus in the UK. Did they remove it in America?
damn, its 9:30 for me rn-
BUT YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS SPECIAL! you know if its south park, its gonna rock!
Little Debbie...."Muthaphucka"😂
i am on monjaro for diabetes and it works really well for lowering blood sugar and yes suppressing appetite. but it won’t get you high.
The truck chasing scene was out of a movie: MadMax ll
