Maybe Im juat lucky then. Im about a month into the game as a 100% f2p and I have a team 3 light, 2 dark and Irelia. Chronos 10star, Valkyrie 10star, Twins 10star, Charon 9star, Succubus 9star, Irelia 11stars. Havent spent a dime and I dont think theyre very hard to get. You get like 10k diamonds a day for free every day just by playing. 20 wishes on each banner is 10800 diamonds. Just put youre scout missions for 120 diamonds and you cover it easy. Heck, you can even send half od them on 60 diamonds if your luck isnt striking. I havent missed a single Diamond wish on the rare up banners since day one and I always seem to have a couple of thousand diamonds ledt when I log off. I also HAVE another two dark and two more light heroes. Irelia just does such insane fakking damage, shew still way better for the moment. Once I get my Uruk raised, I will switch Irelia for that one.
Honestly, its not a bad idea, but I would only do it for Chen or Irella (or whatever her name is). You want a single target damage for bosses to maximize rewards.
I added a comment to a poster, but would like to follow up. I love your content, but do disagree about advancing a RGB past 10 star. I think it is a good idea to advance one unit of your choice (preferably Irella or Chen) past 10 star. Yes, you lose them as fodder later, but that is just 1 team slot that you will likely have them on your team for at least a month, but likely 2 months if i were to guess the timing of some of the more OP units. They will not only need to release those upcoming OP units soon (which if I know gotcha), they will adjust the release date (they have already changed the release dates for the first two units) for the more OP units later to slow power creep. On GL servers, players know what is coming and what to skip now and will just hoard resources (or spend them elsewhere on mythic summons like I do). Most importantly, unless they will be giving out more than 2 light/dark souls per week, you have absolutely no chance of advancing your light/dark units even to 10 star without spending or being insanely lucky. To go to your earlier comment in the video, L/D requires a lot of investment of very limited resources. I will say that I would certainly agree that I would NOT advance any more than one RGB unit past 10 star because they will be replaced and the gain in daily resources from having a 2nd good, but not amazing unit isn't worth it.

if you do feel like your irelia is carrying you, and you are not afraid to waste some fodder and resources, then go ahead and invest more ! it is not that big of a deal if you have alot of extra fodder just sitting around

hey it’s really not a problem ! starring up one rgb to 11 stars or higher won’t make that much of a difference, youll earn the resources back soon enough ! leaving at 10 stars is just what you can opt to do if you completely don’t want to waste any resources
Honestly, I could be wrong... I don't think it was a waste at all. I think this content creator is right that going past 10 star may not be good long term, but making 1 RBG unit past 10 stars is perfectly good. Unless Guna and Bird lady are released anywhere near in the near future, you will not have room for them on your team and more importantly, won't be able to advance them anyways because of the mats needed. The first 2 months of the game... just to get twins, valk and gilg up, you will need 3 7star light, plus two more light/dark souls per unit. That is equivilat to 6 light/dark souls or 3 7 star light/dark units plus 6 light/dark souls. That is just to get those core 3 units. You get 2 light/dark souls per week and unless you get crazy lucky on that cube summon getting light dupes to turn to 7 star, you will have to wait unless you want to spend. My spear lady is single handedly carrying my team to master temple floor 7 (almost Vallhalla). Without her at 11 and soon to be 12 stars late next week, i would be losing out on 1000's of champion medals and essences per day. Additionally, on for seed of calamity, she helps me max out the rewards. So almost every day i'm getting an extra 30 gems and 8 red pots. Finally, on whatever event for killing the big blob, she also helps me max damage on that too. Reality is, yes you waste a 10 star fodder, but you can rewind the awakens at low cost and pull all her other resources out. IMO its a good trade.
whatever you said is very true. going past 10 stars is wasteful, but after a certain period into the game, you will have a ton of unused fodder to the point that starring up to 11 star will not make a dent in your overall resources. not starring up past 10 star is just for players who do not wish to waste excessive resources, but even if you do, it is not as bad as it seems.

i would recommend focusing on themis till 10star node2 before starting on any other units ! she is just that important

for sure ! that’s what i would recommend, but if you really like the character, you can up to 11 star if you want
I only have one copy of twins, should I save Faction currency for them or get copies of Themis to get her to 10* sooner (currently 9*)
not too sure when the twins will be added into faction shop, itll be better to focus on your themis first

As a beginner, Can you use your 5 stars and food. Or upgrade the 4 stars to 5 stars and use them as food. Which one is better?
u can use every five starts heroes that cannot be level up more than 10stars
my current team is alcade irelia gil sucubus hela and the twin girls who should i switch with themis
either succubus or hela, or you can just move the twins to the assist slot when you reach lvl 120

I got around 5 Valks from the solar draw... Just save 30 at least and do the pulls you will get it
