Yoshi took "It's not about winning, it's about sending a message" to heart, but they ended up cooking with so much heat they boiled their own message into a broth and now we have no idea what they sent to begin with Which honestly means they were the true winner by virtue of playing for the fans
I like that this started as a story of Alpharad trying to beat the odds, but then it just turned into "This is the Yoshi player's world, and we're all just living in it.".
Ok but what if him playing like this was to prompt comments like this from the fans, leading to him appearing in future videos and getting the opportunity to unfold a plan far greater than any of us could've predicted I'm not saying it's likely, but what I am saying is that we should let him cook
Daisy: The one that either does a big brain play or just screw everything Wario: The one who is accidentally helping Alpha to win Yoshi: The one who is here for fun
The thing is, this was a 3v1 Mario Party game. Yoshi never needed to win. He just needed Alpha to lose. And that meant playing as much support towards Daisy as possible. That meant winning a team Mini Game to let Daisy earn a star. That meant passing up a star in order to give Daisy a chance to get it. That meant playing so weirdly that he’d hopefully avoid a chance at any bonus star to give to Daisy. It meant losing in the most strategic way possible.
That yoshi was the kind of kid to play the Soviet anthem at full blast on a bus ride to school and then get surprised when they beat the shit out of him for it
Yeah, I thought that was far too much of a handicap as well. Especially on a massive board like Space Land where getting more than 3 Stars a person is rare, and Boo is pretty difficult to reach. Also, No comms for the 3. That hurt the 3 the most as Yoshi had no clue what the other two were planning, while Alpha just had to feed the chaos to keep the status quo.
I was thinking similar things, plus the fact they were completely random fans. clearly at some point someone is just gonna help Jacob because these fanboys be crazy and cant stick to the dang plot. Kinda rough idea, debated just not finishing it because the outcome is pretty clear. Almost not fun to watch the fans throwing for no reason.
I don't think it's that bad, really. The team of 3 just needs to make their strategy focused primarily on using Boo to steal rather than to get "normal" stars for themselves. If the goal is to make someone get 4th then it's more important to make sure they have 0 stars at the end than it is to put any one other person ahead of them. The one player most likely isn't going to be able to purchase "normal" stars faster than 3 players combined can steal. Especially since the team of 3 is effectively in control of the coin economy due to their increased ability to influence who gets what in 1v3 or 2v2 games.
Okay I haven't finished the whole video yet and I don't know if anyone else pointed this out, but I absolutely love the small detail of Daisy powering down at 2:52! It's such a small thing that Alpha didn't have to edit in, but he did anyway. This is the kind of shit that puts him in the S tier of content creators.
18:02 Dasiy actually played this very well. I think she realized the same thing Jacob did and stole as much money as she could from Yoshi, so that it wouldn't get lost to the Bowser beam. Well done
yeah that was meant to be the point, he did this already in Alpharad Gold at least once but with him, Jo, and Altrive trying to beat the raid boss (a random fan)
I just saw that Jaiden also uploaded a Mario Party video, and I thought that Alpha was playing a 50IQ game of pretending that he was Jaiden when in reality he was the Wario here. ... this video felt VERY different by the end LOL
Idk if this is the phrase you don't know, but "Let him cook" is an evolution of the classical phrase "Don't complain about the meal before the chef has cooked it", a phrase meaning not to judge how a person is doing a task until you've seen the results they achieve, which became "Let's see what he's cooking" in the late 1900's (I think the 70's?), and now it has been further simplified to just "Let him cook." They all have the same meaning. (Just like how "Okay boomer" is LITERALLY the same as Gen X and Millennials calling people "grandpa" or "grandma" in the past, just with new words)
@@sayer303 I said I didn't know if it was the one you didn't know or not, I just made an assumption, and explained something I knew, it's not that deep.

Just waiting Jacob to get cancelled, then we can make even more Icarus jokes😊
Yoshi has gotta be the craziest chef ever with what he was cooking.
Yoshi was the perfect ingredient in that recipe
The Yoshi should show up in more events like Bruno mars
He was so crazy he wasn’t sure what he was cooking, just knew he was cooking
He cooked
We didn't eat
Yoshi was the master chef there he was cooking up a delicacy
It was supposed to be 1 vs 3, it ended up being 1 vs 2 vs 1 with Yoshi as the unexpected third faction.

Yoshi is a 10 Michelin star chef with everything he has cooked in this game
All three of Yoshi, Daisy, and Wario had that “It’s not about winning. It’s about sending a message.” mentality
The only real difference was the contents of the message.
Im willing to bet that Yoshi was throwing to guarantee Daisy a bonus star. Truly brilliant play
Yoshi was just happy to be able to play Mario party with their favorite RUclipsr
Yoshi: the inner machinations of my mind are an enigma
Also Yoshi: 69, NICE
Let's be truly honest here; Yoshi was playing 10 steps ahead of Jacob and knew what he was doing. He only lacked the little luck required to win.
Looks like that Icarus Complex has turned into a paranoia complex or something
The Yoshi in this game was the greatest mario party player to ever live
Good to see Jacob actively embracing his role as a Mario Party supervillain.
Yoshi's just here for a good time, and I love that for them
Yoshi: my goals are beyond your understanding... And mine too.
Easiest way to beat Alpharad: Remind him that the CPUCS series needs a new entry. He'll be out of there in no time
Nice one...
Time to see what Alpharad’s excuse for losing is THIS time.
This time it was "winning", man just can't take responsibility for his losses
Yoshi cooked him up a victory ng
his excuse is to not lose by giving himself too many stars and the players no comms💀
