ive been using a cheap 4 x 1 off amazon, just ordered myself the ryonet 250 4x1 with micros. Excited for the machine and to make my own videos. Really enjoyed this one here man and now i dont know if i want to ever print on dark garments without a underbase !
Would I need a white underbase if I was printing green ink colour on a red or medium blue t-shirt? I would prefer a black t-shirt but as I'll be using a crude DIY setup for screen printing at home, there's no way that I could get perfect registration for a white underbase.
Great video, thank you. On your white underbase do you make it smaller than top design (blue). I think they call it "Choke", .05 - 1.5, making the underbase smaller so it would be easier to cover with top design? Any chance you did that?
@@hiswaypressorprint4193 I have used a choke of .5 and that was hard to align. I am not sure of how high I can go on the choke to make it easier. If I choke the image to much, the top image would go over and be noticeable on edges ?. Is it trial and learn. Using 1.0 - 2.0?
Silly, What Transfer Tape did you use? I'm seeing Mixed Reviews across Brands. Also, Did you Fully Cure your Underbase Layer? I assume so, or it would come off with the tape, correct?
Yes, We were doing one coat on each side. Now we moved to 2 Front and 1 On back. seems to be working great. I believe the sharper edge is usually what we work with. Thanks for the support also What do you coat usually?

Yes on the underbase we did apply a choke. I believe we did a 1.0 on the choke. Have you had a chance to use a choke on your designs?

Hello xFLACCID Yes cure it till it was tacky and the transfer tape we get it from Grimco
Screens look great besides the pin holes, are you doing two coats per side? Dull edge or sharp? just curios. thanks

Clean af man! Where can I follow you on social media
Thanks for the support check us out at @Hiswaypressorprint on Fb and Instagram
what emulsion are you using? love that deep green lol
The Emulsion is Chromablue from a local suppler here in San Antonio. It looks green on the yellow screens. Thank you for the support
What mesh screens did you use?
we were using a 156 mesh
I believe we used a 156
What a difference? What inks were you using man?
Chris we are using fnink and River city (local suppler)
@@hiswaypressorprint4193 Thanks guys
Why not just use opaque ink???
you would need to do more passes to go on the garment in order for the ink to pop out (layers) . Underbase cuts the time in half
What kind of brand were you using? It looks vibrant.
Just subbed.
So for the Underbase is F/N Ink for that crispy white. we also use a local supplier River city Prints for some colors. Thanks for the support Fam
@@hiswaypressorprint4193 is that the Aqua or sea glass? I just found their website. Also are they creamy like the FN-INK? Thank You for the info.
@@DigitalLiquid It Turquoise color. and not as Creamy as F/N
Wait a minute this isn't underbase fallen down
ooops sorry hahaha
