Thank you so much! I live in Thailand and have for about 5 years now wanted peppadew seeds that I can try to grow over here. Finally, my cousin has sent me some and I'm about to buy a hothouse frame that I'll cover with netting because the snails and worms here love western food haha. I also found some seeds in out local market called 'cherry sweet peppers' and they look just like Peppadews so I'll do a little experiment of my own and see if they are indeed the same thing. My middle name is Juanita and yours was the first video I opened to learn about how to grow peppadews. Hoping for the best. Thank you for your lovely video.
which should mean that right about now you should have a BUNCH of peppers...I'm trying to confirm I have the right plant, do yours have purple flowers and black seeds? thanks!
Hi, I'm in the south of Thailand and my family in SA just sent me some peppadew seeds. Looks like there is a variety here in SE Asia called cherry Sweet Peppers. I'm going to plant the SA ones and the Asian ones and see how they come out. They might be the exact same thing.
@@MsJaqstar Thanks for the reply. Where did you buy the seeds? I have habaneros and scotch bonnets(I think!) growing well. I would love to get peppadews or similar going!
Dankie, ek groei Peppadews in Pilladelphia area, Cape Farms. Steeds klein plantjies maar het al vrugte gedra. Stam dunner as 1cm in deursnee. My vraag: kan ek hulle herplant? Baie dankie . Elna
I am in Portugal in the Alentejo region - we have a vineyard and we want to grow these between our vines - is this doable? Red paprikas are grown in the region so there is no reason why these won't grow - i am just not sure how much nutrients the peppers will remove from the vines or do they give back like legumes eg: nitrogen
BAAIE DANKIE! Dit is Presies wat ek nodig het. Ek bly in Pretoria en kan nie wag om die saadjies te saai nie. 👏
Very insightful video! Thank you!

Can you grow them in pots? I live in the Florida Keys no dirt here!
Yes you can. I planted mine in a 5 gallon (20 Liter) container. And it's been doing quite well
I am growing mine in very large ceramic pots.
Can you put more than 1 in a large grow bag?
@@jladam1969 I wouldn't. They will compete for space. Plant one plant in each a 5 gallon container or bag.

Where can one buy some seeds?
Hello, how long does it take to fruit from seeds to harvest?
