    Chestnut Hill is an amazing community! Lived there for two years, still think it's one of the cutest Philly neighborhoods especially for families.

    Stumbled across your video.
    Im from Australia.
    I was in Philly in 2013.
    My uncle lives in Newtown square.
    A massive house .
    And my cousin in a trendy area called Queen Village.
    Ill never forget the drive through the Kensinton area,that was scary!!

      @LivinginPhiladelphia  3 года назад +1

      Hello Australia! Newtown Square is in the Main Line area of the Greater Philadelphia area (Which is all awesome). Queen Village is one of the top neighborhoods in Philadelphia to live and as you noted, very trendy. Kensington still has some areas that are rough. There is currently a lot of investors looking toward that area and rehabbing homes. It may look rough now but only time will tell if it gets turned around.

    I’m 55yrs of age. I grew up in the Mt. Airy section of Philly which is adjacent to Chestnut Hill. Chestnut Hill has always been as beautiful as it is today.

      I just looked at the park on a map and it looks huge! Not sure if this is many green spaces connected or if the entire spot is one park?

    Is chestnut hill family friendly? We are thinking of moving there with our 18 month old.

    • @LivinginPhiladelphia
      @LivinginPhiladelphia  2 года назад +1

      Yes, it very much is. If you are looking for an area that is just outside of the city, this is one of the many great areas for a family. The Main Line is another area you should look into.

    My wife and I are looking to move to Philly from NYC, and are looking at areas with other affluent people. This video was very helpful for that purpose.
    Would you be able to do a video on your top 5 or top 10 high rise residential buildings in Philly?
    For ease (as far as I could tell) this is all the completed residential buildings over 100 meters tall, in decreasing order of height:
    Two Liberty Place
    FMC Tower
    Ritz-Carlton Residences
    The St James
    The Murano
    Evo at Cora Centre South
    1706 Rittenhouse Square
    10 Rittenhouse Square
    1500 Locust Street
    500 Walnut
    Academy House
    The Drake
    Symphony House
    The Alexander
    2116 Chestnut
    400 North Broad Street
    The Dorchester
    2400 Chestnut Street
    The Packard Grande
    1919 Market
    Waterfront Square

    I don't know for some reason I don't wanna consider Chestnut Hill part of Philadelphia It should be a town on its own basically call it upper Springfield township Montgomery County

    • @LivinginPhiladelphia
      @LivinginPhiladelphia  3 года назад +2

      I hear you. It is definitely on the outskirts of the city but still in Philadelphia County, which would be the defining detail. It is also well within the Greater Philadelphia area which is, of course much larger.
