Always excited to see your videos pop up. You are building your legacy, so take your time and do right. Thanks for taking the time to share this with us.
That camera position on the tree drop was excellent! I'm impressed. Fast pacing the build segments on the second level was genius and flowed well. Never believe you've reached "the middle of your life". Age is a mindset and longevity is for the willing. Keep making great videos! I enjoy 'em every time.
I think your ability to not only do the things you do, but the care in which you take to do them is unequaled by anyone else I've ever seen. Your videos are so thoughtful and the music you choose and implement are always just right for what is on the screen. You, my friend, would make a fantastic filmmaker.
I will allow your compliments to puff me up for a moment and admit that since I started making videos, I have thought that making movies would be very fun. I just don't know what the goal would be if I tried. I think it would be neat to do short films and play all the characters but as things have shifted over the past 10 years I think that I'm not politically correct enough to survive what I would do.
@@homemadehome5575 it's sad to think that there's a lot of people this talented unable to leave the artistic footprints because of how things are now politically. you should do it anyways!
😂😂😂 Great opening! That will go down in history along with the concrete pillar in the basement! 😂 A hardworking young man with a great sense of humor - thanks for all your wonderful content!! God bless!!
Just wanted to say that I am incredibly grateful that you wore suspenders in all your old videos. Not a common look nowadays, at least not here in my country. I thought it looked so good, it gave me the courage to start using them myself. I've exclusively used suspenders for a couple of years now, and I absolutely love it! So comfortable and stylish. Got several different colors/styles. Always a treat to see your videos! Always impressed by your resourcefulness and ability, able to build seemingly anything from wood. An inspiration, as I often tend to get stuck in self-doubt and inactivity. Thank you! I hope you and your family will have a great rest of the season.
I love mine as well, I'm often wearing them even when you don't see them..under a long sleeve shirt for example so I can take the shirt off. A lot of the time I'm not wearing them I've just misplaced them then find them when I'm cleaning my truck or something. I'm a fan, it's like your pants are just floating along with you.
I love how the music in your videos is either you spending entirely way too long finding the right, weird song, or you spent zero time at all lol. One of the things I love about your videos
The music is what I feel least qualified to be handling so I over compensate by spending way too much time finding the "perfect" song.......then at times I take so long that I don't care and pick something random. I realize that a lot of the music in other peoples videos is more mainstream but whenever I do that it seems boring and would rather the music ad a quirky interest, with that said, I'm always suprised at how much attention the music gets and how many people like it.
You've done a lot of fun things in your videos before but I believe this is your best edited yet. Your work and ideas were always enough for me but all the music syncing is really appreciated. This was a lot of work!
It's about time I watch a build with some creativity behind it. I'm in process of building my own dreams slowly. Can't say as if I'm being as picky about everything but I'm making everything my own way and unique as well. Great work
This is amazing! A man who could build a house is super impressive🙌🙌🙌👏👏👏👏 its not alot like u in the world n doing it all by urself is even more impressive!
My wife and I have been watching your channel for a few years now and thoroughly love them. You are so detailed oriented with your explanations, and how you perform your work making it look so easy for a young guy that’s been doing it for decades. I lack confidence to do the jobs you do because no experience or afraid of messing up.
Thank you, if you watch closely right when it hits you’ll see the tripod to back for a second because of how much wind came off the tree. Even if it’s not going into a video, i film most of the trees i cut down in case something crazy happens.
Winter is coming, get the roof on this puppy! Awesome tree fall footage. IIRC you build this to house and protect your lumber mill/board saw. Fascinating to watch that work too.
It's amazing I very seldom comment on anything that I watch so thank you for sharing this I can't say enough about what your channels have given to me you're doing great work Thanks!
Always a good day to see one of your videos posted. I also always worry about you working out there alone. Hopefully someone checks on you regularly. This is an awesome build. Never a doubt really, your work is always stellar.
Nice work as always, i love your choice in music as it gave off a tim burton vibe. Dont feel bad on the time its taking as i too hum haul and get distracted with side projects. Ill get my tool room done one day lol. This is gonna wind up being the biltmore of sawmill sheds, my grandkids may wind up buying tickets for the future tour.
Great content as always! And as any parent should, you are wise to focus on creating generational wealth. It's a huge gift and great example of hard work to those future generations.
Nice video, well done and very entertaining. I figured you had moved into that brick house. Just keep making that barn longer and it will be an attached garage before you know it.
I thoroughly enjoy this build, especially your comments. For a few months I've been trying to recall a video seems a few decades ago about a man with meticulous skills such as yours. I couldn't think of it until about five minute into this video when out of the blue the title came to me. It's quite possible you've already seen it but if not I highly recommend you watch Ben's Mill. It's on RUclips titled odyssey bens mill. I think you will see a lot of yourself in him. I do. 👍👍👍
Good job on landing that tree precicely where you intended. AND on placing the camera in precicely the right spot to record it. You obviously know your stuff.
I’d be willing to bet this is an editing trick. He is showing how he gets his lumber but in reality he is using seasoned lumber. The rafters for sure looked seasoned.
Clever intro. Great music, as always. Project looks great. Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving! Get some rest. Is that tiny house finished, yet? About time it is turned into a playhouse for your kids ... LOL ...
What a cool structure! Wondering what you'll use it for. Will it be insulated? Will there eventually be plumbing and AC? Looking forward to having these questions answered!
Curious , why a off grid house ? Are you gonna do a wood stove , solar, outhouse , rain collection and propane ? It’s looking great and your doing an awesome job. Have learned lots of things from your channel.
I thought wood had to be dried first before used for building, is that only for furniture and not structures? Seeing you mill it on site is wild but fun.
It gets bigger every video. Next videos he will add an extra wing instead of a lean-to, build a hot tub pad, add a garage and before we realize it, it will be a small mansion. :)

"....go inside, get snacks" such truth! I missed these videos (moving forward)! What a perfect treat - thank you ❤

I don't think "middle of my life" is a harmful mindset; there's lifespan and there's health span, and it didn't sound like a comment on his health.

Just curious, and sorry if you've already told about it, but won't the freshly cut wood shrink as it dries and make everything wonky?

It’s always funny to me how you can take a huge wad out of one tree and it just stands there and others you look at it wrong and it falls down. 😂

That was funny: I have to go to the hardware store.

güzel oldu 👍🏻 evi naptın bitti mi 🤔😁🇹🇷
I have a question for you that pertains to the tree you cut down. Do you age that wood or did you use some green?
I usually saw ahead of time so the wood can dry, it didn’t need to be dry dry for framing, pine dried very fast when it’s hot.
What do you do about the carpenter bees?!?!
I bet you answered this already, but why is it ok to use fresh harvested lumber for building purposes?
The downsides are minimal with rough framing. A lot of the wood in this video is air dried.
@@homemadehome5575 thank you. Your an inspiration 👍
THANK THE GREAT GOODNESS I HAVE MY OWN MUSIC TI LISTEN TO, I'D HATE TO FAST FORWARD FOR A SONG!

casa monte negra by the whiskey wasps

Is there ONE person in this world who has not used "This is Not a Step" as a step?
It's my favorite step!
Don't you have to dry the lumber before using it?
editing magic, like a cooking show. I mill wood in a video and use other wood that is already dry enough or dry it then finish the video.
lol torn down by some yuppie. Future home of some 2100's track home culdesac.
What was the guessing game??dont you use little speed square measure your angle and cut a bunch for 16 on center for the length of the roof??
Something was off from one side to the other so i had to make adjustments there rafters at one end, most were the same.
Felt like i was watching Noah build the Ark.
Whats the song called at 2:18 in the video
Haha you shop for lumber like I do.
