    That camera position on the tree drop was excellent! I'm impressed. Fast pacing the build segments on the second level was genius and flowed well. Never believe you've reached "the middle of your life". Age is a mindset and longevity is for the willing. Keep making great videos! I enjoy 'em every time.

    • @questioner1596
      @questioner1596 Год назад

      I don't think "middle of my life" is a harmful mindset; there's lifespan and there's health span, and it didn't sound like a comment on his health.

    I think your ability to not only do the things you do, but the care in which you take to do them is unequaled by anyone else I've ever seen. Your videos are so thoughtful and the music you choose and implement are always just right for what is on the screen. You, my friend, would make a fantastic filmmaker.

      I will allow your compliments to puff me up for a moment and admit that since I started making videos, I have thought that making movies would be very fun. I just don't know what the goal would be if I tried. I think it would be neat to do short films and play all the characters but as things have shifted over the past 10 years I think that I'm not politically correct enough to survive what I would do.

    Just wanted to say that I am incredibly grateful that you wore suspenders in all your old videos. Not a common look nowadays, at least not here in my country. I thought it looked so good, it gave me the courage to start using them myself. I've exclusively used suspenders for a couple of years now, and I absolutely love it! So comfortable and stylish. Got several different colors/styles.
    Always a treat to see your videos! Always impressed by your resourcefulness and ability, able to build seemingly anything from wood. An inspiration, as I often tend to get stuck in self-doubt and inactivity. Thank you! I hope you and your family will have a great rest of the season.

      I love mine as well, I'm often wearing them even when you don't see them..under a long sleeve shirt for example so I can take the shirt off. I love how the music in your videos is either you spending entirely way too long finding the right, weird song, or you spent zero time at all lol. One of the things I love about your videos

    • @homemadehome5575
      @homemadehome5575  Год назад +3

      The music is what I feel least qualified to be handling so I over compensate by spending way too much time finding the "perfect" song.......then at times I take so long that I don't care and pick something random. I realize that a lot of the music in other peoples videos is more mainstream but whenever I do that it seems boring and would rather the music ad a quirky interest, with that said, I'm always suprised at how much attention the music gets and how many people like it.
