Omg thank you. The idea of lugging the shelves home from ikea is a headache and they’ve been out of stock for so long but I have to go by Home Depot after work so this is perfect 👌🏽
Admiration and Inspiration! All love, only thing is me trying to DIY off this is making my OCD and Dyslexia send my mental into a 'come on has to be common sense/what are the measurements of this $15 wood drag down battle.' 😅 Think I got....100in L, 8in W}6.5in W. 100÷.5,(5×10in). About 15in apart 😭🥳🤗🤗🤗 Thanks for your work and can't wait to check out more from you! 💝
Yes predrilling as suggested below will help. The hammer.....not so much, more likely to cause a split or tear the screw threads out....just don't have it around when you do projects unless you have nails. Also they look perfect and for a hat rack great idea but in your daughters room....with no glue and more importantly no supports these shelves will start to sag under relatively light weights add something heavier like a couple of pounds and they will come right off if not immediately then in a very short time like overnight
I absolutely love it. I won't buy the Ikea ones, it can get pricey for my daughters and my room. But I didn't want to do the cardboard because they can't hold too much weight. Did you use spray paint or paint brush? This is brilliant, why isn't every girl doing this?! And honestly I preferred the silence. Almost every video out there has that obnoxious music.
Margarita Hernandez Thanks hon! They are still holding up strong. I took my daughter's down to straighten the shelf with the candle & I spray painted them using Rust-oleum from Lowes.
CocoaPuff I'm not exactly sure how long the board is if I had to guess I would say about 65 inches long.. each small board is about 10 inches long and 6.5 inches wide...I didn't prime before I spray painted them.
Karen Castaneda I'm not quite sure...I haven't put anything with much weight on either. My son's is just for hats...and my daughters is still set up the same way...they both are still holding up!
What was the size of wood? I tried pausing it can’t make it out. I absolutely love this idea!!
OMG I love this. i have to make two of my own for my makeup room thank you soo much!!!!

How long is each shelf
pinkbarbiedoll90 Hi, each shelf is 8 inches wide and 10 inches deep.
Does anyone know the size of the wood she bought
Was it $15 for both pieces of wood or for just one ?
It was only one piece of wood I had cut in half...and one half was cut in equal parts to make the shelves.
@@iLovesMyMane girl I needed this, thank you so much! By any chance do you know the length of the full wood piece?💕
Total length was about 66 inches; each shelf is 7 inches wide, 10 inches deep
what size board did you get?
Pammie Sue I'm not sure the exact length of the total board...
Quiero una pero en la parte de abajo quiero hacer una alcancia
How did you paint them ?
Is that a 2x8?
Beautiful! Do you have the measurements of the long board and small ones by any chance? Also, did you have to prime the wood before spray painting?
CocoaPuff I'm not exactly sure how long the board is if I had to guess I would say about 65 inches long.. each small board is about 10 inches long and 6.5 inches wide...I didn't prime before I spray painted them.
Dee's Reality Thank you❤️
Pros of having a crafty mom!

jmarie1719 Thanks Hon! I return the blessings to you as well!
How much weight can it hold? Btw looks awesome ❤️
Karen Castaneda I'm not quite sure...I haven't put anything with much weight on either. My son's is just for hats...and my daughters is still set up the same way...they both are still holding up!
