I'm not sayin there aren't "toxic" ppl wit the CSM anime rent free in their head but I have to agree wit many of them that while the production of CSM was INSANE & I'm glad it got that sort of treatment in that front, The DIRECTIN of the anime is not wut MANGA READERS were hopin for, expectin, or preferred myself included. Obv they're 2 diff series wit their own identities but Dandadand' anime trailer was wut ppl were expectin from CSM. It's clear Dandadan took the creators' experience wit CSM to make somethin that is similar to it yet uses that springboard into its own distinct path of wackiness. U said this here. Nobody wants it EXACTLY the same but the ESSENCE this trailer exudes is the type CSM manga readers wanted/expected & AGAIN CSM anime PURPOSEFULLY made itself diff from the manga. The director stated this, Fujimoto ASKED THEM TO MAKE IT DIFF, & manga readers (like myself) KEEP SAYIN IT'S DIFF. I'm glad it seems this fun series is gettin the tonal identity treatment I wish CSM got(1 that fits the series it's adaptin).
This is a first for me in the sense that I've been following the manga for months now, and this is the first time that I've read the manga before anime adaptation was even announced.
Ehh Chainsaw Man is fine. It does require more time on the animation in future instalments if MAPPA do the series because if not done well... I will only blame MAPPA for the bad production that is unable to rival current top gen anime. Chainsaw Man is THAT good. Part 1 is insanely good and it cannot be done injustice. I have high expectations.
I've said it before and will say it again. Dandadan is a goofy story that can take itself seriously when it needs to. Chainsaw man is a grim story that has a good sense of humor. All these unneeded comparisons do nothing but insult both works.
This is, sadly, how Chibi covers stuff with the Chainsaw Man anime. He kinda just hatrs on anyone who criticizes it because of how toxic the haters were while it aired. It does suck as a fan of his content when he acts like we're the same as them.
Been waiting since 2022 when the rumors starting speeding about this Manga getting an anime adoption fast forward to about one month away from 2024 and the Dandadon anime will finally be here I loved the Manga since chapter 1 back in 2021 and I am so hyped for the anime
Honestly, tho, the aesthetic of Dandandan anime is actually perfect for chainsaw man. Like the anime we got was good but I do think having a more wild, colorful aesthetic is just as good if not better for chainsaw man in general
I always see people say "that's what csm should've been" but i disagree completely, i don't want the characters to look goofy/silly little guys making chibi faces all the time, that sucks soo hard and i already hated the bits jjk did, it's fitting to be cinematic and realistic, the cgi sometimes was the only problem the anime had, that's it, the adaptation and the creative view of the director were perfect, plus the voice acting and ost
Lets be real...no body expected a studio as less known and unpopular as studio saru to adapt one of the most passionate and successful series over the last couple of years. Dandadan is one of those series that you'd expect to be picked by a more popular and successful studio like studio bone, Studio trigger, wit studio etc. Studio bones would have been the perfect studio for bones seeing how they did a brillaint job working on mob psycho 100 and the similarities between dandadan and mob psycho with the whackyness and over the top series respectively.
The people that are making anime really just don't have an audience that can understand artistic vision or art in general. I really don't want to sound rude or offend people but when there are people that watch something like Chainsaw Man and say that it's "bad" just because it isn't how they think it should've looked like and is instead done in a way that's trying to be different and interesting is a bit close minded. This is art, and it's a shame that the director's vision isn't how people think CSM should've been like, like there are rules in art.
I understood the vision and think it sucked for CSM. Are people not allowed to critique his direction? "This is art," exactly, and art can be interpreted by people in many different ways. Some people, like me, really didn't like it, what's the issue w/ that? Do you just want people to be nicer about it?
@@throughmemories I'm not saying people aren't allowed to, criticism is good. @@Ros-pw8jsThen you have to realize that most of the people that didn't like it aren't sending anyone death threats and you should stop lumping them together. I actually liked the anime for the most part, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't have liked it much more if they kept Fujimoto's energy.
@@babulbi I know there are people that aren't that hostile with expressing their opinion (which is good). So how chaotic is this show are we talking gintama jojo and baki level insanity?
I haven't read or seen Baki so I can't really speak to how it compares there. Regarding Gintama and Jojo, it definitely matches their level of insanity, but just in a different way. The scale and presentation of the villains is bananas though, and the main cast are equally as wild when it comes to rising up to whatever challenges they are presented with.
It's more like FLCL if you watched that series before
Can someone tell me if the MC actually gets his balls stolen? Cos that's what I've heard.
he does
Yes

Can't wait for 2024 😍
Lets just hope this doesn’t go the same way as zom 100
At the very least, the source material is better.
@@JayceCH. im talking in production problems
You would have thought an elk was lurking in the woods if you heard my scream when I saw the thumbnail with Dandadan pop up on my feed. I feel like the people who set off fireworks in a movie theatre right now
The fact it’s animated by Science Snaru… I loved Scott Pilgrim Takes Off and then they give us this? Science Snaru is feeding us good.
Chainsaw man season 1 was a masterpiece when it comes to animation , 3D , direction , creativity , voice acting. It did sooo much right .. but it did the most important things wrong .. sometimes less is more ..jjk realized that and quickly corrected it .. that is why jjk season 2 is so incredible..they realized that the hyper realistic animation isn't that important..it's about the tone. jjk season 2 is what Chainsaw man should have been ..
For jjk I don't fully agree, because toning down on the detailing was a good choice, but given the current state of season 2 that's questionable.
@@esheanarumainathan2053JJK 2’s artistic direction doesn’t have anything to do with its current production state; it’s simply the horrible work schedule the animators have been forced to work under that’s the cause of its current affairs
Chainsaw Man season 1 went in a completely different direction for the most part that I just didn't think hit the same as the manga. I hope Dandadan can do what Chainsaw Man couldn't and keep the spirit of the original work.
@@sonicsenryaku6205 You're looking at it 1 dimensionally .. even though I do agree somewhat .. I'm not only talking about the animation quality.. I'm talking about everything.. the whole tonal shift .. jjk season 2 feels more light . the physical comedy is better .. chibby Geto .. just look at that scene where gojo and geto is walking.. that tone is definitely what they were going for .. and that's what Chainsaw man should have been.. cause at the end of the day .. Chainsaw man is funny and goofy intentionally .. if uu know fugimoto's writing .. you'll know that you don't change anything because every detail is intentional..
@@babulbi exactly!! What we got was a masterful anime. What we didn't get was a masterful adaptation .
Don't Mess with Eizouken, Devilman Crybaby, Ping Pong the animation...this studio is full of underrated hits
Dudeeee, I've been reading this Manga since the very first chapter release! I can't wait
That teaser blew me away. I'm hyped! 😭
Looks really good. I don't know where I heard awhile back that it was gonna be made by Bones, I can't recall if it was a YT comment or something else but nevertheless, now I know it turned out to be just speculation. Doesn't matter, it seems to be in good hands with Saru.
Dandadan hasn't missed a beat since day 1 I'm beyond hype for the anime.
I've said it before and will say it again. Dandadan is a goofy story that can take itself seriously when it needs to. Chainsaw man is a grim story that has a good sense of humor. All these unneeded comparisons do nothing but insult both works.
They saved dandadan from mappa
your video is so good
I’m so excited for this, the manga is the best thing I’ve read so far!
Excited for it
I can't fookin wait.
Science Saru was my top pick for this anime adaptation, based off their experimental styles and consistent sakuga
How is saying that makes you a toxic fan? Wtf are you on about?
This is, sadly, how Chibi covers stuff with the Chainsaw Man anime. He kinda just hatrs on anyone who criticizes it because of how toxic the haters were while it aired. It does suck as a fan of his content when he acts like we're the same as them.
I‘ve reading the manga for months now I am so beyond hyped for this
I've heard great things about the manga, so I expect it to be good, especially from what I saw from the trailer.
ur reaction was my reaction!!
Been waiting since 2022 when the rumors starting speeding about this Manga getting an anime adoption fast forward to about one month away from 2024 and the Dandadon anime will finally be here I loved the Manga since chapter 1 back in 2021 and I am so hyped for the anime
All in all pretty cool, but can we acknowledge the 1 HOUR ISENGARD THEME LOOP and the fact that Chibi has it already watched 90% of it XD
Dandadan had this most wild ass first chapter and I bet the first episode will break the internet
Honestly, tho, the aesthetic of Dandandan anime is actually perfect for chainsaw man. Like the anime we got was good but I do think having a more wild, colorful aesthetic is just as good if not better for chainsaw man in general
Now that I know that Science Saru is a Yuasa studio, this adaptation's presentation and feel makes more sense.
I just hope this makes more people check out Eizouken after this anime.
Chibi reviews my guy banana organs. 💀🛸🍌🤖
DANDADAN IS HERE BABY!
Is been a long time that I've been excited for anime adaptation.
Looking forward to the wackiness and dank memes
When he's all like yo yo yo you know it's something good
i'm heavy into anime but i'm not that heavy but here chibi goes again putting me on
Monster Squad completed:
Denji🤝Yuji🤝Kafka🤝Okarun
The animation looks like Dragon Ball Super: Broly's animation, thats awesome
So hyped!!!!!!!!
really excited for this anime
Peak is finally arriving!
They’re keeping the soul of the series unlike what Mappa did to Chainsaw Man
How can you just lie like that💀
@@MasterMike_ No lies were said. Chainsaw Man anime was dull af and drained any ounce of fun that the manga had out of it
It seems to me like the people who jump on anyone with any criticism of the Chainsaw Man anime are the toxic ones.
criticism or "wah wah it's not like i want it to be"?
I m glad Mappa didnt take this one. They took my beloved Hell s paradise and turned into a heaping pile of shit. 😂
What’s so bad about the Hell’s Paradise Anime?
something tells me Science Saru is on the look out for bananas
I think I have an idea what people wanted it to look like but it was just made more unique and different, which I would say is welcome. And if the director received this much hate to the point of death threats, I would like people to chill and be nicer about it.
I just feel like negativity and toxicity is much more vocal in the community, which is really unneeded. Glad you enjoyed it, it would have been nice if they kept it but doing something different/unique is, as I said, welcome (imo). Wish people were nicer though, positivity seems rarer.
I think Staff's health and quality of the adaptation will be fine IF it's only 12 Episodes and air in Fall 2024
Or they should split up the cour if it's gonna be 24 Episodes, 3 or 6 moths apart would great
Hoping some these higher up people are not too greedy
2024 can’t come soon enough!
my excitement is immeasurable
can we just talk about how based Chibi recommendation on the side with charlie and Asmon xD
THE WORLD SHALL KNOW PEAK.
Just wait until it starts and then catches up to where the manga is.
This my favorite series I sooo excited!
bro just cause 8 people said something does not mean it needs to be the video title acting like everyones saying that lmfao
The ones saying it deserve to be bashed regarldless for their ignorance and entitlement trying to downplay CSM season 1
@@Fletcher-pr2jf not really just feeding into toxicity and providing false narratives for views
This looks insane. Count me in.

I really really want to see the mirror lady😭😭😭😭
Is looking good, I was scared science saru mess the designs, also, they aren't good with consistency in terms of animation, so, lets hope for the best.

Once again “ Free lancers “ picking and choosing what shows they want to work on. Really annoying.
Kensuke Ushio is absolutely goated
