Absolutely beautiful. This is the first time of hearing for me. I love the sound of the oboe, and can recommend 'Elegiac Dance' by Michael Head and 'Romanze' and 'Humoreske' by Carl Nielsen.
Yes, these works have been transcribed to be played by several different instruments and for me Piano and Oboe is the perfect combination. Bach used it often as "the voice of God" in his Cantatas, eg BWV 131 (the Netherlands Bach Society). I must hear your suggestions, thank you.
