He is an alien, very extra ordinary and superhuman oboist, the best in the world, genuine virtuoso

That's dope that this is actually what a clarinet solo piece called the Hillandale Waltzes theme is based off of! Really awesome interpretation, beautiful ornamentation, great accompaniment from the orchestra and virtuousic playing that demands your ears attention! Awesome stuff!

Herr Leleux is a great player. But he overplays everything…and it is more like a show …and the frasing??Give me a player with less tecnik.

Yes, I can only imagine what it's like to have such phenomenal technique that these standard show pieces like the Hummel, Pasculli, etc are boring for him and he has to rush and overplay in order for it to be interesting for him. It's sort of like Superman going back to work at his newspaper job or something. I agree with you that someone with less technique can find musical solutions to technical problems is usually more interesting to listen to.

Maybe for Schumann...for a piece like this, Leleux any day and twice on sundays.
