Note: there is a vent where you saw my son riding. He was on it when we first started cleaning and he was only on for a couple pushes. We don't recommend using this as a kids ride. After prolonged use the vent can get very hot.

Highest reviewed carpet cleaner
This unit has only one barrel brush like there Bissel vacuum cleaner spinning in one direction, which will only clean one side of the carpet fiber . You need to make another pass the opposite direction in order to clean both sides of the carpet fiber completely.
All the details I was looking for. Thanks for the info.
Got a used carpet (area rug) recently and used the big green carpet cleaner on it to try restoring the rug. Ended up going over it 5 times and it now looks like I bought it new. Works awesome!
how well would it do on very short carpet tile, if you had to guess?
Curious, Have you used the New model Rug doctor pro deep commercial clean machine and motorized upholstery tool? If so what is your comparison between this one and the rug doctor? Thanks
The new Rug Doctor is Junk...Don't waste your money
Yes that machine does take belts you have to unscrew the brush roller and there is a belt any vacuum our carpet washer that has a beater bar has a belt and you can also re-read your bissell's manual and it'll tell you how to change that belt cuz I had one and I thought it was no belt until the thing stopped working come to find out it was the brush roller the Bell had broke so yes this machine does have belts it's one belt
I’m going to be renting one of these from my local Lowe’s this weekend. Looking forward to cleaning our carpet! Thanks for the review!
How’d it go?
@@lovely_sadist1237 pretty good actually! I didn’t add the cleaner to the machine but actually bought a separate carpet cleaner solution and mixed it in a pump sprayer about 10 minutes before I ran the machine. The machine only had clean water in it that way when I ran it it would just remove the pretreated cleaner I added to the carpet. Got most of the stains out and the carpet smelled a whole lot nicer too!
@@Duderino1978 thanks
What brand carpet solution did you go with
It is unfortunate that they changed the dirty water top to a white plastic instead of the original clear plastic. The clear one was easier to see when water being sucked up. What a stupid re-design to eliminate the clear top.
The best carpet fiber remover, rotating fibers out ,instead of agatation.
I received it today from UPS and this worked like a charm. Could not believe it took the stains out of the bedroom. It looked like new.
The water is beautiful means it's doing the work it's disgusting as well I agree.
I'm needing a tile version of this unit
That reminds me when I was a kid I used to ride the vacuum
You think you're pretty clean person until you look at the dirty water. My waste water goes straight into the toilet. Don't underestimate what going over the washed carpet with just hot water will do and just making passes with suction only. Extra time, but well worth it.
Can I go through the surface of the carpet multiple times to make cleaner ? How much water and solution I would need to clean 4 meter X 5 meter room? Last time I rented a rug doctor, I tried to clean an entire day, it seemed cleaner, but after drying, it much dirtier than before 😭. Please advise
I owned this machine since 2015 and it will out screen even the biggest machine rented from Home Depot. I had to redo it with this machine after it came back from the shop. It has now broken on me but that is because I hired someone and they abuse the machine. I am ordering another one.
Does it dry quickly?
yes, relatively anyway, because the weight of the unit forces the suction down into the fibers. If that makes sense.
I love this machine
This machine works great!
Does it literally wash the carpet clean?
Do you know if this can be used on hard floor surfaces like linoleum or tile?
That precious baby weight... 🤗🍼🐩
Super cute but the machine is too loud to operate near a baby
Excellent review
Does it require belts?
Before I pay $700 I would like to know the answer to that question
No belts.
yes this machine does have a belt you have to pull that brush roller out and on the side as like a long-arm you unscrew that in the belt fits inside of there because I had one for 8 years and I think the brush stopped spinning and I was going to throw the whole carpet cleaner away cuz I thought I had broke but come to find out it was the belt so if you read your Bissell menu there is a belt in this machine yes it is
Hi you said this was superior to the rental kind
But at least now (two years from when this video was made) you can rent this bisssel big green at select stores.
Are you saying it’s no good?
2:08 So gross I love it!
I want to know.how mach
thanks man just got one ,,,,,i my rent it out too $50 a day
Can you lower the brush for low carpets
how's the rental business? I never thought of renting mine out, but now you got me thinking...
I'm a painter and if I get slow maybe this could be winter work
Buy it.
Better than Bissell Pet Pro?

How do you call out the Rug Doctor and the Hoover Spin Scrub/steam vac without calling them out?
Edit:

Check out Vacuum wars competition vids and review of the Proheat 2x revolution pet and the Pet pro. Half the price of the Big green does better
Maybe so but did you know you could rent the bissell big green for like 30 bucks per 24 hrs depending on where you go. (Which is what I planned on doing first. Then getting a pro heat later on down the line for regular maintenance)
I tried the Pet Pro version of this machine, but hated the new thumb button, which we found to be tiring to keep pressed.
Thanku!!
What a great video! Thankyou 🙂
Could this be used as a commercial cleaning for a janitorial service?
Yes!
Honestly just tried this thing on my carpet did use nothing but hot water no chemicals and my goodness does this thing work best one I’ve ever rented if your curious you can’t rent same thing for $29.99 every 24 hour I would this is money we’ll spent
Can you use this on a plush carpet long pile great straight to the point video 👍
Any carpet just not anything longer that a inch
i got mine from ebay for $329.00 and that machine it's a beast, ready do a good job
Got it direct from bissell today on a black Friday sale for 330 after tax
Just got mine, $411 + tax, delivered to my front door by Amazon...have rented this machine a half dozen times from my hardware store for $30 a pop...it will eventually pay for itself!
I have the Rug Doctor like this one. My question is with the water this machine applies to the carpet and what it extracts from the carpet.
Is that a question or a statement?
Seriously?? What's the question?
@@DatDyme980 The question is .. What is the amount of water extracted versus the water applied. I’m trying to compare the difference between this machine and the Rugdoctor.
Nobody wants to see you repeatedly cleaning and already cleaned floor. I mean, common sense would say you need to be cleaning a dirty floor to show what it can do. 🤔🙄
i got this machine 2 of them for my small carpet cleaning business and it WORKS AMAZING. i cleaned some ones house yesterday that was stained with human urine. and paint stains it took me going over it twice and a little bitch of the scrubber that comes with the machine to get it out. but it works great.
