Max picks up the baby's scent, then realizes the baby is their child. The dog knows more than you think.
@CyberCloudz Actually the dog wanted to eat the baby but it knew that it would have resulted in a big punishment for it so it accepted the baby. The dog couldn't care less if he is their son or not, he just a human that the couple will take care and my the dog is a little bit jelaous. That little one was in very safe paws. Goldens are renowned for their sweetness, their patience and kind, gentle nature. And lovely Max is no different. They must be best buds by now!

This is beautiful. I love the attention you give to him even though you have a new baby, tells him that he is truly part of the family..Plus he will help with babysitting. Very Special.

Oh my gosh!! I had a golden named Max and I have a daughter Olivia! I remember when they first met. Max was about 8 years old when Livi was born. So sweet!
