My (admittedly quite lengthy now) experience is that the best moments of life are when the people you care for come to your side and help you push the boulder, at least for a while. Whether it becomes a game, or a labor of love shared, there are times in life when you find out that you are not alone. At least not all the time. 💜 Lovely essay, Aaron. I am proud of you and your work on this platform.
This actually made me cry. I don't really have anything big that's been getting me down these days, it's the usual life stresses, but sitting down to acknowledge it nonetheless, really sitting with it, letting it wash over you, then continuing to live, it's so important. Idk, I think this just made me cognizant of that. I'm glad it did. Really happy this video came on my feed, I think I needed it. You have a great voice too!! Hoping to see this get more views. ❤️
I have played the Mysterious Man (and the Narrator), and the song “No More” is one of my favorite moments I’ve ever had on stage. You have absolutely nailed what it is about this song that makes it so powerful.
I get annoyed that in the Middle School productions is that they leave the second half of Into the Woods, just because they don’t want to scar kids for life.
Not so much not wanting to scar the kids. More like... they're ill equipped to actually undergo the much needed conversation that one should take when helping them understand what the second act is all about.
Oh my god can I just say i love your innuendo studio vibes? Like don't get me wrong im not saying this is derivative, just that you have this wonderful vibe about you that this other well respected content creator has, and given how small you are, I just thought that vote of confidence would be nice to hear. Keep this up :D
"Life in late stage capitalism is similar to act II or into the woods" is one of the most outrageously and absurdly true things ive ever heard

01:09 unexpected, but remarkable quote
Aaron what a lovely surprise in my feed! I especially loved the touch of the "woods" noise. Beautifully done.
I needed this.
