Robin, your yogurt looks really good. Thanks for sharing, I don’t have a ninja foodie just the air fryer but I just may have to purchase one to try some of your fabulous recipes. Again thanks Robin for demonstration. Have a wonderful week. Looks like your end of town is pretty busy with the state fair going on. ❤️
Thank you for your video. You have encouraged me to make yogurt in my Ninja Foodi. It makes such a large amount I wonder if I can divide the yogurt into smaller portions and freeze it?
I too prefer plain yogurt..that way I can have it savory as well as sweet. The commercial sweetened yogurt is always way too sweet for me and the ones sweetened with artificial sweeteners even more so. I like using the plain yogurt as a base and changing it up by adding fruit and a matching jello powder to sweeten and flavor it, or an instant pudding powder. Pie filling is a good option too...As you mentioned honey and nuts is very good as well. I enjoy plain yogurt with cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions diced up and added in and made into 'raita' by adding some raita Indian spices I buy from the Indian grocery. I used to make Paneer often. It starts with milk too..Hindus use it b/c it's a good source of protein. It's easy to make too. I prefer making these at home b/c there are no gums or thickeners etc.
Thanks Dinah. All good tips. I put the pudding in as well. I will try the jello. I like to flavor with a drink mix. Lemon is my favorite. Plain yogurt is much more useful.
@@simplefoodsimplelife9632 I'll have to try the lemon flavor drink mix...I love lemon...I'm hooked on lemon snaps right now...come fall it'll probably be ginger snaps. When I was young if it wasn't chocolate forget it and I wondered why 'old' people liked lemon and ginger ...now I know b/c I'm old too, lol...although, I still love chocolate BUT I might choose lemon or ginger over the chocolate these days.
Thank you for this video, I have been hesitant on making yogurt in the foodi, but I decided this morning to give it a go after watching this! Thank you again for the whole video!😊

Thanks Debi. I am very far away from the state fair. I’m in eastern IA.

You are so welcome! And yes you can freeze it.
Fun times! I think I used my insta pot to make yogurt but I used pint jars in there I’m pretty sure. I might think about it again. Thank you
Pint jars…brilliant. Thanks miss Kitty.

You are very welcome. I’m glad it helped. I was surprised at how easy it is. Takes the guess work out of making the yogurt.
Love your original yogurt making technique in the crock pot. Always our fav.
I do too. Thanks Joann.
