@@07foxmulder its something horror "franchises" (sequels) do and thus wouldn't be far off for Scream to do. Assuming they are taking the mickey out of the horror genre.
I've seen scream 3 multiple times and I've never picked up on the fact that Angelina was probably also a killer. My perspective on this movie has just changed in a big way.
Angelina is definitely the 2nd killer, she just happened to go out the door that led to the Stab studio after she "accidentally" left something behind knowing Sidney would follow her. Plus how she knew to back away from the house before the explosion. She also slinks away from Tyson at the party. Her supposed death looked a bit suspicious and her death face kinda looked how Roman did. I think she was still acting as she was trying to "run away". Scream 6/II needs to bring her back.
True, plus her death wasn't even really shown all that much and to be honest, when I first saw it, it seemed exaggerated and ridiculous. Like it was staged. And she doesn't even seem to have that many wounds when Jennifer and Gale look over the banisters, sort of like how billy gets "stabbed" in the first film. All very sus.
I like the theory that Roman was trying to dispose of Angelina cuz she basically almost got caught by Sidney. I do however think her panic reaction moments before her death are genuine. What made her mood switch was hearing from Gale that Roman's dead. "Oh shit, I'm screwed. My accomplice Is dead. I'm caught *internalize panic, *attempts to flee" that's what I think.
You missed another part of Angelina being the third killer, after she was stabbed and dragged away we see Tyson getting thrown over the balcony then as that happens we see Jennifer trying to go to the basement and getting chased back up then being stabbed in the closet. No way Roman could get from the balcony to that basement. Also she had to help him stage his death 💀 that was how she found the hidden passage and sleeping with Milton helped her know his house 🏡. She wanted to be like Sidney and after she killed Jennifer she took off to wait for Roman but he never returned. Good vlog , nice set up .
Thank you for highlighting this because I believe Angelina is the one who killed Jennifer. I’ve seen Scream 3 a million times but I’ve seen it like 2 times recently. The scene where Angelina tells Gale & Jennifer about the hidden passage was very telling to me. Jennifer decides to go through the basement (hidden passage) and ghostface chases her leading to her unfortunate demise. I believe Angelina had enough time to suit up as ghostface to kill Jennifer.

"Dewey Saves The Day" - Not only is Dewey the one to arrive to Sidney's aid on the soundstage, it's also Dewey in the end who is the one to finally put down Ghostface.
Personally, I think Angelina is still alive. We don't get a good look at her stab wound or body before it's dragged off scene. I think it was more of a stab to hinder her/knock her out so Roman could tie her up to take the fall for everything. I think it'd be interesting to see her return in future movies, even though I thought her character was very bland at best... It would make for a could reference to the third movie as well as tie up lose ends!
Remember she tried to get Gale and Jennifer into secret passage but were freaked out. She goes downstairs, Roman helps her to fake her death. Roman throws Tyson out the window. I believe Angelina had the time to suit up as ghostface, and killed Jennifer.
Having a second killer, especially an actor as the killer, and a one female at that. would've made so much perfect sense, because they could've just had her do the voice impersonations or something instead the magical voice changer they had. plus it would've been less jarring than having just roman as the killer because angeline actually spent time with the rest of the characters.

It could just be the directors shutting down the 'Angelina was a second ghostface' theory/scrapped ending & Stu's intended return in 3 but they go out of their way in 6 to have Kirby confirm Stu's death and Roman as a solo killer. Underrated sequel. It was a great way to end the franchise. We found out who was responsible for all of this, he gets killed. Plus Randy's cameo was fun. I do like Scream 4, just prefer 3 more. Done with the brother, now a psycho cousin.
@@MrZombiejoe Yea I don't know if I would agree with that. We didn't know the cousin any more than we knew Billy's daughter. Never heard of the cousin before the movie and her sole purpose was to provide a link to Sydney- one of the legacy characters. Her motive made more sense this way.

I love Scream 3 lol I know that’s kinda an unpopular opinion but I think it’s a good story, interesting characters, a great back story, the funniest of the franchise, and still scary! And I love Parkey Posey of course lol
The Scream trilogy is amazing! Thank you, CZsWorld for covering the Things (most of us) Missed!! Can't wait for the Chucky Things You Missed! Even if it's over an hour, I'll watch it! I watched the 1st season and it was AMAZING!
Fun fact: Randy was also suppose to be brought back in the original script his parents keeping him in hiding which would of honestly made this franchise MUCH better imo. There is NO other character that brought in the charisma Randy brought in. Surprised you didn't mention the two Randy resurrection Randy ideas to this video. The 'movie' they were going to see at the end was going to be another Randy tape, this one revealing to them that Randy was indeed alive but in hiding because of what happened.
I always felt Scream 3 was the weakest of the series. Then I did a rewatch before Scream 5, and the Weinstein references stood out to me and added such a layer of subtext that it finally felt to me like a Scream movie that matched the satire of the first two. I love Scream 3 for what it is. I love all of them!
Always smile when I see a new czsworld video 😁: slight request, could you cover the Hannibal franchise if you do not have it in plan. You’re my favourite RUclipsr and I’d love to see you cover my favourite franchise
Hell yes! That was a great in depth analysis! I have always loved scream 3 even with the shift in tone but I never picked up on half of this stuff and how many throwbacks it contained to the previous movies. Amazing work dude 😎
I always thought Sarah Darling was a callback to SMG in Scream 2. SMG was also only in two scenes, Wes allegedly - and disparagingly - called SMG "Sarah Darling," they both wore shades of purple in their death scenes, and they were both thrown through windows and stabbed in the back.
@gleefulmusings. Yeah I’ve heard that rumour as well, whether it’s true or not who knows. The rumour is that Wes didn’t like how SMG was being hard to work with, apparently SMG was complaining about only having 2 scenes and complaining about script rewrites (which there was a lot of scripts for Scream 2 as the rumour was the original Scream 2 script got leaked, but some don’t believe it was a leak and just a fake script so people didn’t know the real script). Also in the documentary Scream, Still Screaming, the casting director said SMG was always in and out and could only be on set for a short amount of time, because she was very busy doing Buffy and I Know What You Did Last Summer. SMG was a very busy girl in 1997. If the rumour is true that Sarah Darling was a nod to SMG being a little difficult, then I think it’s because of how busy she was at the time, while also being young and in her early 20’s at the time.
Another possible reference when discussing Gale’s lecture: FW Bestor could be a reference for horror director FW Murnau best known for “Nosferatu” (1922), and Sunrise Studios a possible reference to Murnau’s film, “Sunrise” (1927).
Sad that stu didn't return, but I hope he returns to be the big mastermind behind everything in the new Scream movie. I know I'm in the minority when it comes to Scream 3, but it is my favorite of the sequels. I think you made a really good case for Angelina being Roman's accomplice. I'm going to have watch it again, it's been awhile, and look at the points you made.
I love going back over your Things You Missed videos of my favorite movies. I can't help but wonder what role Cotton could have played if he had lived but I guess there really wasn't any reason to keep him around anymore.
Y’all remember when Stu told Sidney “let’s face it Sid your mother was NO Sharon Stone !” Could he have been talking about her acting since they we’re supposedly in kahoots w| Roman ?🤔
My husband is finally watching all of the Screams with me. A couple weeks ago during Scream 2 he makes a comment about Gales hair "those colors in her hair look so dumb" I'm like... oh just wait to see her hair next movie 😂
@@JB-bm1to Her hair in 2 & 3 was awful. The chunky streaks were bad but the bangs in 3 were worse. In his comments on Scream 2, CZ says Dewey is being nice to her when he says "Nice streaks" but his voice sounds mocking and sarcastic to me. I;m it was meant to call out her obviously terrible hair choice.
The original scream 3 script was scrapped and rewritten for the lost brother. Stu was supposed to still be alive in jail making a cult to kill for him, since the original script wasnt used for a movie it was made into a tv series.
I never understood why tf would kincaid be there with them at the end looking like he became part of the team when he was just a cocky ass detective lmaoooo
Angelina may not be dead... She was a first time actress and her death reaction was way over the top. Gale and Jennifer only see her from the neck up with open "dead eyes" and she gets dragged off out of view. Her body is not seen again. Hers is the only body to be moved by Roman. Why? He left everyone else where they were killed except her. In Scream 5 we find out that Sidney has twin girls. Twins are genetic, so it is possible Angelina and Roman are fraternal twins. Another thing that supports this is that Jennifer admits to sleeping with Roman who is the director and would be able to get someone a role in exchange for sex. Yet Angelina admits to sleeping with Milton for her role who is only one of the producers. Why not sleep with the person who is first and foremost directly able to assist with casting such as the Director rather than a producer unless there is some reason you can't such as HE'S YOUR FRATERNAL TWIN BROTHER...
A rumour I heard about the Sarah Darling character name is it comes from Wes Craven and Sarah Michelle Gellar not getting along during the filming of Scream 2 to the point where he sarcastically said "Sarah darling" a few times because he found her annoying.
I just watched A Bucket of Blood a few nights ago. It’s so good, it’s only an hour long and on RUclips and It’s story is one of those that fit during any era. Roger Corman also did a few movies loosely based on Edgar Allen Poe stories staring Vincent price that are very good.
I was wondering if I was the only one who noticed the Weinsteins being exposed in Scream 3. Truly the most underrated film of the franchise *chef's kiss
Great video! I usually know all of the things mentioned in these types of videos, but did not with the majority of these! Thanks for making great content.
I wish they had waited until the right time to make this. It would've been better. I don't think it sucks now, but I did when it came out. The idea of Angelina still being out there and that she was involved sounds really interesting, but i'm not sure it would work. I think the Scream franchise is moving further away from the Sidney story (thankfully, it's tired, lets let it go, it should've ended with 3) and bringing Angelina back would just complicate it and make her character more involved than necessary.
I can't wait to watch "things you missed in scream 4" iv been enjoying watching this series on all types of movies. It's really entertaining to watch and listen on your options. Thank you so much for all of your research and time. See you in your next video.
I kinda like this one, I mean... The final fight between Sid and Roman is VERY good, one of the best scenes from the franchise. Actually the whole 3° act is good.
In the film resume their is actually a nod to Mothers being in Horror films. We know Wes Craven liked nods to Halloween. Well this is a nod to Jamie Lee Curtis (Star of Halloween) and her mum Janet Leigh. If you look at the film credits for Sydney's mum one of the films in her credits is "Space Psycho". Jamie Lee Curtis's mum was in the film Psycho. It was Roman's supposed death before the final battle that actually gave it away from me that he was the killer. He was supposedly the first character killed off screen in the franchise. As soon as I saw his supposed dead body I knew he was the killer. If they had Angelina as the second Killer they could have made it look like he was killed on screen, by having Angelina dressed up as Ghostface supposedly kill him.
I thought the second killer would be Patrick Dempsey character. Because he borrowed Roman's phone, said he grew up with movies, and that Sly smile that he had when he pulled a gun on Sydney in the mansion.
What’s interesting to note is how Wes craven and Carrie fisher did uncredited rewrites on the script to make it “more scream” like as Kevin W was not involved only returning after 4.
Glad you brought up the 81 Scream film! I've got the film and have seen it and according to IMDb trivia it took 4 years to get released and 25 years to get a DVD release. That's how bad it is.
A bit off topic but an error I notice in this film is, apart from when Mark tells Gale Cottons girlfriend was killed too, whenever the victims are mentioned after this his girlfriend isn't counted!
Angela is wearing a tube skirt. Back in the late 90’s (when this movie was made), long skirts like that were popular, as well as overalls. Compared to the tight clothing of the late 2000’s onward, back in the 90’s and a little bit in the 2000’s, oversized clothing or non-form fitting clothing was kinda popular. So it makes sense why she’s would wear them, especially trying to look innocent like Sydney, trying to blend into the background. And also Sydney is also an inspiration (visual wise) for a horror video game character, Claire Redfield. Which does make sense, seeing both are teens/young adults in the 90’s, wears jeans and leather jackets/outerwear, both brunette and pale, both being weak yet having some knowledge of fighting back, both have kind hearts (literally Claire is a natural baby sitter, which I kinda wish Sydney would have been too, similar to Laurie Strode), and both having final girl energy.
Amazing video. I really want to go and watch the movies again before my copy of scream 5 shows up. I loved scream 3, but never saw the 2 killer thing, but this video has more than enough evidence to have me look at it in a new way.
I think they wanted to leave it open for another movie. There was no leak of this script for them to want to change the ending and leave Angelina out of it. It was marketed as the last one but ditching the concept of 2 killers is why some fans never viewed the 3rd movie that highly or in true Scream fashion. This would create fanfare for another movie in the future because the 3rd one "just didn't feel right". This video goes even further to show that Angelina wasn't just another red herring
The crew references on the director's chairs actually makes a bit of sense if you consider the fact that Stab 3 is the in-universe stand-in for Scream 3
Scream 3 gave me one of the hardest laughs. Back then we were sitting in the rear of the cinema right under a speaker. When the voice of Ghostface came out of that speaker in the opening scene a friend of mine jumped two feet high in his seat because of the shock.
Angelina is definitely the 2nd killer in scream 3, there’s more evidence in the deleted scene where someone (allegedly ghost face) was watching Sarah arrive to the studio. Meanwhile when Sarah is killed ghostface (Roman) is already inside.
I saw an opening night Scream 3 screening while in high school at a Marcus Theater in Green Bay. We had to show our ID’s 3 TIMES to ensure everyone was 17+. Ironically saw both the exponentially gorier parts 1 and 2 “illegally” at the same theater, no ID needed🤣

Underrated sequel. It was a great way to end the franchise. We found out who was responsible for all of this, he gets killed. Plus Randy's cameo was fun.
I do like Scream 4, just prefer 3 more. Done with the brother, now a psycho cousin.
I like Scream 4's ending better because it's actually a character we know well.
What about 5?
@@CZsWorld What Character? You mean Jill?
@@MrZombiejoe Yea I don't know if I would agree with that. We didn't know the cousin any more than we knew Billy's daughter. Never heard of the cousin before the movie and her sole purpose was to provide a link to Sydney- one of the legacy characters. Her motive made more sense this way.
Underrated sequel. It was a great way to and the franchise. We found out who killed responsibly for old of this he gets killed. Plus Randy cameo was fun. I do like scream for just produce three more. Done with the bother, now a psycho cousin
When Sidney is in her movie set room, I don't think there was 2 killers. I always got the vibe that when the door shakes that it was rigged and set up to do that for Stab 3. I never thought there was anyone behind it. I mean we never see a person let alone the shadow of a person.

I will defend SCREAM 3 till the day I die
Same.
Until Scream 5, 3 was the worst in the series. Defend it all you want, you’ll never win.
It’s a bad movie.
Same
I always felt Scream 3 was the weakest of the series.
Crazy video as usual. I love them so much.
Could you do a video on Baghuul the demon in Sinister?
I get that request a lot. I'll probably do it soon / eventually haha
Thank you for absurd amount of depth you into the horror history’s. They generally make me appreciate the films even further.
Like was behind all of the other killers helping them with information and all of that. He's still alive!
What you said at the end of her not being dead and showing up with Stu in scream 5 would be awesome!
I saw in the scream booklet that he did lend his voice to "scream 5"
So happy this finally came out, I have been waiting for it. Love it! Cannot wait for 4 and 5!
I used to think this movie was the weaker link, but it has grown on me, especially after seeing the power move Wes did to the Weinsteins!
this mans voice in making these videos are... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmazing, his yt channel is seriously underrated, more ppl need to know about him.
I always learn so many facts with your videos like when I read the title I'm always like "75 things I missed???? that's impossible" but it ends up being true that I didn't know most of them lmao
your videos always have so much work behind them and I usually watch them more than once to really get everything (and because your narration is awesome! so videos that I have alredy seen are great to have on while I do other things)
keep up the great work!! your videos are amazing CzsWorld!! I can say that you have at least 1 fan in Spain ❤️
I know I'm in the minority when it comes to Scream 3, but it is my favorite of the sequels. I think you made a really good case for Angelina being Roman's accomplice. I'm going to have watch it again, it's been awhile, and look at the points you made.
You're not alone!!
@@EmilSchwarzYT I agree- Scream 3 was one of my favorites in the franchise too.
Gale's bangs was the scariest thing in this sequel 😭
It was bc Dewey wanted them to be like that. It was supposed to be inspired by someone else 😭😭 they looked so bad poor gale 😭
@@pattierotondo1108 yep, that’s why I told him wait for 3 lol. He told me I should cut bangs like that for Halloween after seeing them
I am always amazed on your videos! Love and always look forward to your videos!!!
It has become obvious why he was there since the last two movies. He was in love with Sidney. They married and have kids at this point.
Jay/Jason Mews and Kevin Smith are hilarious. First movie I seen with them was Dogma. I then went back to find the other videos.
Oh, Randy.... my heart weeps...
John Milton as the producer is also a nod to an early 90s flick where he plays the producer I think the film was called FX ( effects)
This is my fav scream we found everything out the missing pieces I love it old photos of her mom etc
Detective Kincaid is probably a shout out to Kincaid from Nightmare on Elm Street 3 Dream Warriors.
I agree
it would be so sick if the next scream made it canon that angelina was a killer
A rumour I heard about the Sarah Darling character name is it comes from Wes Craven and Sarah Michelle Gellar not getting along during the filming of Scream 2 to the point where he sarcastically said "Sarah darling" a few times because he found her annoying.
This is cool I hope it’s true lol x
So true
Where did you hear this ?
@@ghostface6901 many scream 2 sources close to the crew revealed this years ago
@@omarslayz saying sources can not be the source
Wes shit on the Weinsteins and I’m here for it.
Please never stop doing these!
Wow the Angelina connection!! This awkward plot holes make so much sense now. Love love love this channel
Please do the history of Ghostface. Pretty pleeeeeaaase.
2:11 I just assumed Bridger was his adopted family's surname.
I don't think he has a family.
Didn't expect the deep dive into Harvey Weinstein but I'm glad we got it
Thanks CZ for dropping this video I really liked scream 3 . It’s my birthday today so this is a great day
Happy birthday!
Yes it is a great day
In the film resume their is actually a nod to Mothers being in Horror films.
You covering the View Askewniverse is now the only RUclips video I ever want!!! Trying to think how I can convince you Clerks is a horror movie, BRB.
Don't know about that but maybe Red State or Tusk.
OMG this is so good. It makes love part 3 even more! I just love the whole setting of Scream 3.
Just started watching your videos, definitely subscribed love your content, great work!
I thought the second killer would be Patrick Dempsey character. Because he borrowed Roman's phone, said he grew up with movies, and that Sly smile that he had when he pulled a gun on Sydney in the mansion.
Great video and great Angelina review
7:41 I like how Gail is wearing the same colours as the No Smoking sign she walks in front of. Subliminal messaging that she quit smoking after 2?
The end part Sidney holding Roman's hand showing a gesture that he's still her half brother.
That's how bad it is.
these videos are always good af, Keep up the good work
A bit off topic but an error I notice in this film is, apart from when Mark tells Gale Cottons girlfriend was killed too, whenever the victims are mentioned after this his girlfriend isn't counted!
Was literally wondering, damn haven't seen anything from CZ lately. Was watching the things you missed from Scream when this upload dropped, stoked 🤘
Damn, the research of it all. 🙌
I love this channel ever since the it timelines vidoes
One day I'll randomly drop another IT character horror history.
@@CZsWorld ok thanks keep up the good work
18:30 I think the idea was that the door was done by a switch or what ever they used at that time
Love these vids! Plz also do Scream 4 and Scream 5.
makes sense for angelina, when sidney is attacked she gets through the window and goes into her house, where another ghostface is in the closet
One of the best RUclips channels around. Should have 10 million subscribers!
I’m surprised you didn’t point out the ‘Fall of Troy’ poster on the board at Sidney’s house when she leaves the door open at the end.
One if my favorites from the sequel, thank you!! ❤
kevin smith also did a cameo in degrassi next generation! and in scream 4 shenae grimes was the opening and she played darcy in degrassi
