      I have a Total Hip Replacement on my Right Side. I also have a lower lumbar fusion. Is it ok for me to do deadlifts? (Surgery is approximately 2 years old, and fully healed.)

    You mention maybe not doing the Good mornings if you have something like a herniated disk. Are the Romanian and stiff legged deadlifts better or more safe to do if you have a herniated disk issue?

      The good morning is very technical, and you should use light weights; Our ego pushes us to put too much weight on the bar and for goodmornings, the form will brake faster and y ill get hurt. So do goodmornings, with less weight, like only the bar to begin with, for a couple of weeks so your body learns the movement perfectly. If you have a herniated disc, use the hex bar untill your back is healed. Then you can do the traditonal deadlift, then the romanian and then the stiffed legged.

    What's the point of Good Mornings when its just RDL's but having the bar on your back for no reason? Just looks unnecessary to me

      How long ago were you injured. Start low & gradually increase workout intensity as you rehabilitate & get stronger
