Visually this place reminds me of nine springs in Yeovil. Nine springs is a gem in what's a pretty grim town. I doubt there's any history behind it but it's worth a visit if you passing through.

@@monkeyboy7981 thanks - I pass through Yeovil a few times a year clipping the west side en route to south Dorset; have had a Quick Look, and yes, visually similar - but St Dyfnog’s is in the Vale of Clwyd, so, indeed a different context. I’ll take a peep when the correct journey allows

Nice one Tim - it's been on my radar too but have yet to make it there. It sounds like one to linger around or even dip in. Not sure if you know St Issui's Church at Partrishow in the Black Mountains. It's worth a visit with a lovely well down below. One of my favorites. It's in a video of mine called: Black Mountains Walk & Wild Camp On The Beacons Way | History / Views | Epic Sunrise. Well, all the best. Mark

@@WyeExplorer Yes - one to spend time at.
Don’t know Patrishow - having looked it’s quite a way off my usual north-south route, and went close on 6th August 2005 (lots of stuff on the radio for 60th anniversary of Hiroshima going through Abergavenny). I’d like to spend more time in the area when the time’s right - will take a look at your video. Thanks 🙏

@@TimPrevett It is I agree. Well, Patrishow is the borders really - so thought I'd mention it. For sure the areas worth exploring.
