No, Lilystable, I allowed my frozen cake to completely thaw before crumb coating and decorating with the fondant. Covering a cold cake with fondant will make d fondant sweat and sticky. 💕💐💐💐

This happens when the fondant is rolled out and left for some time before using it to cover the cake. Sometimes the weather also contributes to it, especially during the harmattan season. It is therefore advised to work quickly when using fondant icing, you can also close the window of the work station to reduce the harshness of the weather which dries out the fondant. Hope this helps?

How much icing sugar did you use for fondant
I used 2kg of icing sugar but the fondant remained. If you notice the design is minimal cos I used artificial flowers.
