What a lovely boy! Reminds me so much of a similar blue and white cob I rode over 60 years ago. He belonged to a family friend in his 70s who had gypsy heritage. All his ponies were broken to pull a flat cart at first and I was the fearless teenager allowed to do training under saddle. Great times!

Calm, patient, steady but still alert. Good gaits…how better can it get? This is what I like. I’ve known too many “Flashy” horses and prefer a dependable, smart one . Especially in traffic. Well done!

That seems to be an admirably nice horse. Liked the obstacles you thought of.

Thank you for this wonderful post.I have been worrying about my one-eyed icelandic booked on 'the list' sometime this year with you ,also for ride and drive, and I can see there will be no worries at all. A lovely video in any case and I really enjoyed such a happy boy with a great life ahead!

What a darling, good natured boy! And it's good that it's his right eye that's whole - he can see what's coming and going on the road.

A pleasure to watch. What a good boy. It was sad for me because it reminded me of a beautiful strong foal I bonded with, born with only one eye.. Such a sweet nature and calm too. But his owner decided it made her feel sick to look at him and he was destroyed.

I ride a cob, He is Piebald with one blue eye and one brown eye.
He’s a lesson horse sadly (would love to loan him) but I still love him anyway.
