Years ago, on our Deere 450B was loading on a tilt deck trailer that had a little ice on it. The one track slipped and slid back off sideways. That definitely got my attention 😂
your “government workers” crack reminded me of a job I was on building a huge new facility for a company, and we could look down to a highway job some of our union brethren were on. They were waiting on more asphalt to be delivered, standin around with their long handled shovels, shootin the breeze. My partner looked down there and said, lookit those lazy #%&&$ standin around breast feeding those shovels! I had to take a break, I was laughin so hard! 😀👍
Very nice. I had a similar one over my small pond a few months ago. Only the stump broke off higher up so it was a giant widowmaker. I was going to pull it down with my Maasdam and some snatch blocks but the wind took it down in a few weeks time.
I was taking a close look at that clump at the stump too - and also hoping it wasn't poison oak 😂. Really cool to see you and Jeramy and Dad all working together.👍
@@jeramyreberpuredirt7873 Oh I don't disagree Jeramy, I like to pick on Wilson because we are like minded and in his videos we almost talk the same, lol...
I never understand why people operate saws without chaps. I know it was the landowner so it’s not a liability issue but it could be an unwanted amputation.
Not only amputation, there are some pretty important arteries in the leg. Most people I know of don’t wear them. My dad made me start wearing them when he taught me to run a chainsaw. I got in the habit of wearing them at a young age and still do.
Thanks for the adventure. Were you plotting the whole time that if the fir took out the power line you could make a lot of money from Jeremy not to post the video?
@@WilsonForestLands I looked it up on google maps, very funny to see all the clearcut patches / forest patterns, some really look like a leopards skin from above. (example: East of Ophir) is there a local law that says they have to do it this way? To prevent erosion?
That is a good question. That pattern is called checkerboard. Back when the government was granting land to private companies, often to the railroads, they divided the land up in a checkerboard pattern. The clearcuts are on private land that now mostly belong to the timber companies. The other land is government land.
That was fun. Thanks for letting us all tag along 😊👍
We had a fun day. Thanks for tagging along with us.
Sure is a good feeling when the machine levels out when loading. That metal on metal scares the sheite out of me.

That’s funny. Probably well pampered shovels with not a scratch on them.
🤣🤣🤣

Now that's how it's done. Great job. I need a dozer like
Yep he is good at what he does. You can tell he’s operated that dozer before.
@@WilsonForestLands right. At least a couple of times lol
Cool video Wilson. You took us on a field trip. We had a 450 John Deere like that back in the day. Tuff little machine.
Yeah it’s a good little machine. He takes very good care of that one.
Wonderful Video my Friend. Love all your content. That comment about the Government was spot on. Lol. Please keep the videos coming. Till next time.
Thank you Jamie.
camera jockey is the best ever job!
I agree. 😁
I would love to have one of those JD 450s with the forestry package.
It has been a fantastic and very reliable machine.
What a great machine .
Good video Michael. You did a good job...........................now that I think about it, you didn't do anything. THAT'S the kind of work I prefer.
It would have been even better if I could have taken credit for the work I didn’t do. But it didn’t work out that way.
Good video, Wilson!
You have a stunt camera, WoW
I have two of them.
The Power Winch is a great tool to have for Solo Logging, storm clean up, and a lot of different tasks.
Crazy, I live right down the road. Small world.
Definitely looked like a government job alright! 😂

Jeramy is the one who got into that clump so if anyone gets poison oak it will likely be him not me. 😁
Awesome,thanks for the great video
I want a tractor like that!
Don't you love it when a plan comes together.
Yes especially when it comes together even easier and better than expected.
This winch seems slower than the one mounted on your tractor. Is this PTO or hydraulic?
It's hollow, it's rotten......sounds like an ex.🤣
Sure is pretty country. 👍🍻
😂
😂
🤣
Bulldozers are so cool, the only things they care about are horsepower and traction.
WAIT, WAIT, wait, Mr Wilson has a friend, I don't believe it LOL!!! That was an easy job for the dozer, good job guys!!!
Hahaha I was thinking the same thing. 😂😂
Mike is a great guy, I have known him for many years.
Jeramy is the only friend I have who doesn’t run away and hide when the video camera comes out.

Is that one going to the mill?
Njcely done.
Good job

No I hadn’t thought of that. But that is a good idea. 😂
Where abouts is wilson located? Just a vague area (state or province) curious since the local trees are quite impressive in size
jackson something in oregon state or thereabout (and he also has a part near the coast)
Southwest Oregon

How strange to see you around other human beings.
Most of the time the human beings mysteriously run away and hide when I bring out the video camera.
