I disagree. The sooner we teach girls about babies the better they can think through the hormones and emotions rather than succumbing to jealousy or the biological clock. Teach them the responsibilities, the lack of sleep, the pain, the sacrifice, the gross outs, the giving of your time and body to another BEFORE they start looking at boys and you'll see less teen pregnancies.

As an adult I met and married a man 6 yrs older than me. I quickly noticed that age, and experience difference. His friends were guys and their wives another 5 yrs older than him. So my friends and their new husband's bored him as too young and inexperienced. It was ok initially, but he really wanted a wife with years of housekeeping, and cooking experience. I worked fulltime, stabilized our finances, and learned how to cook, yes there were errors, he wasn't very patient.

Women in their 30s have their boyfriends and husbands push them on the swings on the playground sometimes and they consider it very romantic and sweet. Grown women will also get teddy bears on Valentine's Day so there's nothing wrong with that.

This is like Dmitri and Meghan. Dmitri being Meghan's sober driver is a less serious version of Joshua taking her to get birth control to prevent cancer. Joshua's educated about the rules of consent in his state, and Dmitri is educated that anyone over 18 is legal in Kansas and that drunk driving is a crime. Based on all of my experience with crime, people who commit the more serious ones are usually educated not to commit the less serious ones and they get excited when the police arrest someone for committing the less serious ones.
I got married at 17 to a 24yo - I was too young to make that kind of decision. He promised me everything and "Love Bombed" me and now older can recognize. I was with an older man all my life! There was nothing my mom could do to keep me away from him. He has been passed 2 years now and I miss him dearly everyday. I have not moved on and don’t know if I ever will. It may seem weird or pedifilia but I don’t care. I will stand by mine and my husband’s relationship the rest of my life. I have never been diagnosed with a mental illness and I have and continue to live a productive life and my husband was a very successful man. I was this girl back in 2005 at 17 years old. I spent almost 14 years of my life and my entire adult life with that man until about 4 years ago. He was controlling, manipulative, jealous, demeaning in order to get his way, etc. I’ve been on my own now for just over 4 years, I’m 36 years old now, and it’s hard for me to have a relationship with another man, bc I’ve become so selfish after spending so many years with a man whose wants and needs were always put over mine, I just want what I want at this time and do not have the ability to compromise. Even though I’m not with him anymore and have a happy stable life, that relationship still has effects me to this day. I wish o could tell this young lady on stage the big mistake she’s making.
