  • Hi all, Let us see how to Cook Authentic Bisibelebath!!
The Traditional Bisibelebath comes from Karnataka cuisine. The word Bisibelebath means hot lentil Rice. This is cooked with lentil rice with some powdered spices which is full of aroma and taste.
Traditionally People use copra coconut (sun dried) powder to the recipe. I have used the regular shredded coconut powder instead!!
Adding the roasted coconut powder at the last when the dish is almost done, gives a special aroma and taste and that’s authentic style.
Also, the cinnamon, clove & poppy seeds powder as to be added to the rice when its cooked almost. This gives a special aroma and taste as well.
