- We spent one of our days in the Page area visiting and exploring the Marble Canyon area of Glen Canyon Rec Area. We visited the very cool Navajo Bridge, Lee's Ferry and ventured into the Vermillion Cliffs National Monument to see some cliff dwellings and have lunch. Unfortunately it was very windy on this day and we took on some minor truck damage. This is one beautiful area to see!

Too bad about your truck. Thanks for showing us the good days and the not so good days on your holiday.
sorry about the truck ..... but that was a good video of you two sharing with us. thanks
Beautiful travelogues.
The wind does drive one to go nuts.
Such awe inspiring scenery.
Welcome to the Great Southwest!! So sorry about the truck door Adam! The winds in the SW can whip a door out of your hands in a second! Gotta watch those seatbelt buckles in the summer too.. Sand storms are the worst! I was once in a sandstorm and opened my door... In just a second the entire interior was filled with sand.. I was coughing and gagging... LOL!! It was incredible! Thank you for taking us on your excursions with you! You both are awesome! You make us feel as if we were traveling with you!
We love you guys!
Beautiful scenery but seem like you and Abby keep fighting the winds on the haul. Am enjoying the videos
We spent an accumulated maybe 8 weeks on Lake Powell over the years, camped out on the lake on sandy coves every time. Great place to go with lots of calm areas to water ski, tube etc. Weather is all good when its sunny out but when a storm comes in, you have to find shelter and get off the lake or risk the large swells and waves that are generated by the wind. Its very common to swamp a boat in those conditions, even large day cruisers. Lots of stripped bass fishing there. Lots of places to see for sure.
Truck is getting broke in Lol thanks for sharing
Gooood evening from central Florida! Hope everyone has a great night!
Sorry you had that happen. Wind is a mess. I lost you folks but just now l found you. I probably missed a lot luxs be careful
Another great video. Thanks for sharing the bad with the good. I’ve had my drivers door so that same thing to me once. In front of a bunch of other people. The sights are pretty gorgeous out in the desert. Fun times and you two are like two peas in a pod.
Thanks for sharing your adventures mishaps and all hope it does not cost too much to make your truck right.
You guys look like you really enjoyed the 'Wind Caper' 😂. Is it always that windy there, or was this just a weather anomaly?🤔 Abby, pray do tell, did the wind take your cap? 🤣. Cheers Blessings 💯👍.
Luvs to you two. Glad l found you ❤
I visited Canyon de Chelly National Monument in AZ some time ago and I can testify about the spring winds. Easily 30-40 sustained gusting to 60 mph! Fortunately we had good tent stakes and some nearby trees to tie the top of the tent to or we'd have been gone!
Rafting trips start at Lee's Ferry. I've been on a trip for 7 days 187 miles to a heliport on the riverbank.
Beautiful videos!
I'm glad the wind hasn't changed your mind about arizona it's very beautiful and it's sad that you had to experience the worst when we've had in years But please visit again there's lots more to see safe travels
Be safe!!
Nice place guys...that sux about the truck door man. Same sortta thing happened to me in Florida many years ago but I was in my tractor trailer...sprung the door bad and broke the mirror and window.
Can you give us a 30 second run down where your staying and a yeah or neah. I love your videos!
Diamond crystal kosher salt is the best! Use it, it’s easily accessible online. You just have to buy larger quantities. I live by myself and when I couldn’t find it locally I bought it online and vacuum sealed it.
Man, that sucks about the door. Don't feel bad because I've had similar happen to me although not quite the damage that you have. Just tweaked my hinges a little bit and a small chip on the door edge with nothing on the fender. Had snow and wind here for the last three days now.
My wife and I had our trip to Page ruined by extreme winds also.. It's a beautiful area but prone to high winds in the spring according to the locals... Whats crazy is the boat rental place on lake Powell was going to let me take out A PONTOON BOAT that i'd pre reserved in 50 mile an hour winds!! HELL NO LOL
Crazy windy
Arizona native here yeah can get very windy all over the desert and dust storms are common every year
Just be glad you're not on lake powell with winds like that. I've been on lake powell with monsoon storms and it is scary winds funnel through the canyons and the waves get very large
When the wind is blowing, I have 2 rules. #1 - always park into the wind. #2 - only have 1 door open at any time.
Sorry about your truck. But it can be fixed. Please be care and have fun
Looks like someone forgot to change the date stamp from April to May! D'oh!😉
How come there was no grillin'. LOL.
The graffiti in the stone house. Graffiti is my pet peeve. All I can say is the individuals responsible should have been raised by my Mom and Dad. They would not be doing that. The bridges across the river are really something to behold. I know the designers and builders are proud of their structure. Nothing about it was easy.

Vacationing in the southwest can be hazardous
Oh man the swear words I would have said lol
That really sucks
Dam can’t even enjoy the scenery by a video when people go and deface things
lets hope your insurance adjuster doesnt watch your videos :)
Its covered as a comphrehensive claim. Wind damage. Probably $2,500+ to fix that door and fender.
Why's that. I had same thing happen and state farm paid for the whole amount. It happens.
@Garth Clark
Had same thing happen to us. About 2800 to fix and it's good as new now. State Farm took care of it
Thanks for sharing your adventures mishaps and all hope it does not cost too much to make your truck right.
