A Week Surrounded by 14,000 ft Mountains! | Living in our AIRSTREAM in Buena Vista, Colorado

This week, we're headed deep into the Colorado mountains to a BEAUTIFUL town called Buena Vista! This gorgeous mountain town is surrounded by stunning 14,000 ft mountains! We get to hike some incredible trails, cook some yummy healthy dinners at camp, and enjoy summertime in our 19 Ft Airstream travel trailer!
We're Paul & Shannon, and we travel full time with our two dogs, Doug & Jackson - splitting time between our 19 Ft Airstream & AirBnBs!

Hey new friends :) thank you for the beautiful tour through my backyard...lol WELL not exactly i am from Canon City, Colorado but not real far from there...i spend a lot of time filming near there to be sure...though i am a little old and frankly outta shape for that kind of hiking so i fly drones to get the views :) i pray God may continue to bless your path and i thank you again for such a lovely vlog...see you on next one :)

Hello from Ouray, CO! Thank you for sharing your hike with us!! My wife and I are on a 2 week camping trip around Colorado to try to catch some of the aspen color changes. We are currently up north by Steamboat Springs. Today, we will relocate to close to Vail Colorado to get settled in before this weekends storm comes. We will be there until early next week. Then we will relocate to the Leadville/Buena Vista/Salida area; probably close to Buena Vista since it is mid way for those towns. We mostly boondock; though we do enjoy a campground occasionally so we don't have to count amp hours on the solar or take showers with 8 oz's of water hehehe.
Buena Vista is probably my most frequented spot, aside from my area in the San Juan Mountains. They refer to it as the banana belt, which equates to I can get access with my travel trailer, for the backcountry much earlier in the season since that eastern side of the valley frees of snow sooner.

Ouray is amazing!!! We have only spent a couple of days there, but we'd love to go back. We are jealous you're in Colorado for fall - hopefully you get to see some incredible colors!
